Rushed to TH10 and now at a standstill

Hey guys,
I received a $50 iTunes card last week and decided to use it to buy some gems. Basically I went from th7 to th10 overnight. I just wanted to unlock all the walls, collectors, and buildings, but now I'm finding it nearly impossible to farm via raids. At th7 I was raiding for over 100k everytime, but now when I search for bases it only gives me vastly superior bases or moderate bases with no resources to steal. I'm lucky to 50% a base these days.

I'm level 49 with 1250 trophies, level 4 Barbs, goblins, and giants, level 3 archers and wallbreakers, level one on other troops (all but pekka and dark guys), barbarian king lvl 1.

So my main question is am I screwed? Is there anything I can do to get less difficult matches with more resources? Is there a certain trophy level I should be at? And what should my plan of action be to catch up?

you are totally with out a doubt 100% screwed. Each time you level up your town hall there is a loot penalty so that people that are a lower town hall than you don't get their resources stolen from you. Since your troops are premature for your town hall, raiding will be hard. You can only realistically attack town hall 9 and 10 people. I would make a new account and start over or use whatever gems you have left into upgrading your troops.

You're in for a hard ride. The good news is that once you manage to get your Inferno Towers you can at least fend off most farming armies thanks to the disco change. Your priorities should be maxing your offense ASAP, army camps and lab upgrades for basic farming armies (BAM springs to mind, maybe do giants lvl 6 and WBs lvl 5 for good measure) and go higher up in cups than you were as TH7, due to loot penalty. Man, that is a really low level for TH10. You may want to consider starting over, but if you decide to push on, look for collector raids in the 1650-1800 trophy range. Should be lots of TH9/TH10 to farm.

You need to get your offense on track. Upgrade army camps and upgrade lab so you can get troops to L6. As others have said, get disco infernos asap if you haven't already, but after that max your splash (or at least get it to lvl 6 - 7).

It will be a long, long journey to get back on track.

Read the one and only sticky in this "Tactics, Strategies & Questions" section. You are not the first to make this mistake and you won't be the last. Hope you can salvage your base, too bad you didn't come to the forums first before deciding to jump 3 townhall levels in a day. I believe each time you upgrade your townhall, the game provides you a warning message, asking if you're sure you are ready to upgrade your townhall.

What it should say is "What, you're level 49 and you want to go to TH8/TH9/TH10??? You will severely regret this, do NOT upgrade! You'll thank me later!"

You are in town hall 10 for the long haul. Find a trophy range with a lot of underdeveloped town hall 9 or 10, that is about the only place you'll have a chance at loot now. Agree with previous posters - work on army camps, basic troop upgrades (Barb/Arch/Minion), and get Xbows and Inferno to somewhat protect resources. Put town hall outside for shields if possible. Also max out those dark elixir drills. If you are going to be there for a long time might as well start collecting large amounts of dark elixir right away to help with Heroes and Lab.

Thank you guys so much for the advice, I decided to restore my phone and start over. While I'll miss having 5 builder huts, I was scrambling to make 10k a raid. Thanks again! Looking forward to doing things right this time :)

If you are level 70, then there is still hope.

But sub level 50 Th10 is doomed.

Better start over again.

I got a £50 iTunes gift card and decided to get some gems. I over used it a bit and got a total of £920.
I rushed to town hall 10 within 1 hr.
I have lvl 5 barbs archers giants wiz balloons and lightning spell with lvl 4 gobs WB healing spell and rage lvl 3 healers with archer queen and barb king.lvl 2 drags Pekka's and minions.lvl 1 hogs lvl 1 valks golems and witches.
Am I screwed or can i fix up my village?
Plz help me.
