If someone copies my base, I just smile like I don't mind.
Then proceed to add them to my "Troop donation blacklist".

OP you're being over dramatic. It's a base design for a game, nothing more. Given, I get you worked hard on it and someone simply copied it but at least they asked - you should take it as a compliment and besides, you can't do anything about it anyway.
Don't sweat stuff you can't control in life or you'll just stress yourself out. Enjoy your base design, chill and take comfort in knowing you created it. No one can take that away.
I do it all the time. I really don't mind anyway.
Here's a different twist... We recently faced a clan which I won't name but is known as a very good war clan. As a fair play clan we were anxious that there may be some simming on their side so we hatched a plan. During prep day every one of our (75% of the clan) copied the base of his mirror BUT didn't activate it then, with 2 minutes remaining of prep day we all switched to their bases. The idea was, if they WERE simming they'd show us how to beat their bases and we'd hope our TH10s could be the difference.
The funny thing was they actually had a hard time beating their own bases (obviously, not knowing their trap placements, ours were slightly ddifferent). It led to a really different & interesting war which - I think - was clean and very educational all round.
Anyway, moral of the story; copying bases can be used offensively in war.
