Is copying bases ok?

Hey guys my names Nate,
I personally dont copy bases i dont like it its just not fun for me. So i recently got to th 9 and it took me about a month and alot of base designs to finally come up with one i am so far happy with. I joined a clan called india (from usa though lol) and a guy called eldridge asked to copy my base. I said no didnt think it was fair but he showed no respect for my work and took it anyway, which of corse made me leave the clan. So my question is what do u guys think about this is it wrong to take base designs or am i just being overly dramatic

Yes it is.

Absolutely ok. Though i'd say that you should put some twists into it, make it your own. Carbon copying is not always the best idea, because people are accustomed to different popular base designs and know their way around it.

Try to tweaking around defense placement, traps placement, etc. It also depending on the level of your defense building level as well.

It wont let me post the second pic it keeps saying error but its just eld saying "ill just say he copied it from me"

So you're saying that he copied your base and claimed that was his? If so, that's plagiarism, not cool at all.

Thats what he said he was gunu do i saw hed copied it and was already gone

There's nothing they can do if you copied their base.

I don't care if someone copies my base.
Would find it funny to see a base in the attack list looking exactly like mine.

The design I have is one taken from the forums as well BTW. Did some minor tweaks to it though.

It is ok. But best to adapt to your own condition like league, th level, amount of defense and loot (which might be different condition than the one you copied).

Sometimes I saw a th 7 or 8 with bases look like a copy of a champion's in crystal league. This usually ended with disastrous results.

It's an honour if somebody copies your base.

I haven't created a base myself since TH6, but still.
