Trying for Master

Looking for a little advice. I am a new-mid th9 pushing my way to masters for the first time. I am just under 2500 trophies, and havign great success with lv6 balloons and lv 4 minions. Level 5 minions will be ready in a day.

The balloonions have had a little learning curve, and I could be a little more patient in picking my raids to not only win but cover the cost. long story short, I am out of elixer.

here are what i see as my options:
1.) wait on my collectors
2.) BAM and spend alot of gold finding THs to snipe for the league bonus
3.) go with a lv4 hog army
4.) go with a lv1 witch army


There seems to be a large difference between lv4 and 5 hogs, and lv 1 and 2 witches. Can lv 4 hogs, or lv1 witches hang in this trophy range?

I find lvl 4 and 5 hogs show a big difference.



That being said Balloonions are probably your best bet. And looking at your post I can relate.


Considering my experience sniping is probably the way to go. This will require an inordinate amount of time hitting next however. You can probably get to 2550 with 10-15 minutes worth of next per trophy gain but after that, expect 30+ minutes (I was there). Also only attack at about 75%+ full strength, up in that range tesla laced TH are a problem.


Personally I'd go Barch. That way you can go for easy 50% raids if you see them (lots of buildings on the outside, not covered by mortar or disco inferno fire) or just snipe. BAM is fast but if you have to go all out, it lacks the umpf. Plus with that search time..... ya. The time difference will be hardly noticeable.


EDIT: Also, if you haven't learned this already, hybrid bases are often misleading. The TH may be near the outside of the base but players in this range often lace it with the brunt of there traps. Thus its far more reliable to take bases that offer up 50%

I got to Master 3 with my new TH9 base (TH8 troops and 200 army camp spaces) a month ago. Remember to stock up your elixir and dark elixir so you don't run out! ;)

That is the problem, i did run out of elixer. I am at 2450 with no elixer for my balloonion army other than the one i can train in the morning from my collectors.

For the rest of the day, should i switch to BAM/Barcher, lv4 hogs, or lv1 witches? Bases to BAM/Barcher are rare up here, and i do not know if lv4 hogs or lv1 witches can hang the way lv5 hogs or lv2 witches can.

Make sure you stay online all the time too, your base will be easy peasy for 99.9% of peeps there!

Snipe ths with cc troops for the loot bonus and cups. Also, you can bam or barch more bases than you'd think. Howie made it to 3700 with it.

i have won 14 out of 20 attacks with my new base. I have broken my shield to gain trophies. No base is perfect, but it is NOT easy peasy.

Do you want to stay there or just go there to get the 1000 gems from the achievement?

Either way, it's super easy and I did it at TH7.

Just snipe town halls. That's it. Search and search and search and search until you find the outlying town hall.

Just make sure you have a few backup troops to take out those pesky hidden teslas!

Good luck, but not really, cause this is really easy (albeit time consuming).
