This idea is horrible, people put a lot of time and recources (sometimes even their own money) in to geting their xbows and infernos and you want to make them useless for most of the time. People worked for their defences and they should be able to use them how they want.
Terrible idea i'm nowhere near TH10 (th6) but I would not be happy not being able to use the full power of my defences if I was a TH10 farmer. Imagine upgrading your X-bow to lvl4 which I understand takes 2 WEEEKS and then loading it for 40K and then dropping into gold because of one unsucessful attack then you briefly log out while you are training troops for the next raid and you come back and have lost another 30 trophies because you have been 3 Starred by another TH10 farmer because you don't have your X-bows and Infernos
Thats doesn't happen at th10. Unless you are deliberately trying to loose cups you will naturally end up around 2400 -2800 cups especially if you have L4 xbows. No th10 would care if they were in gold 1 and lost 30 cups. Also as a th10 in gold you get attacked maybe once per week so it's not like you log out for a second and you will get 3 stared. Even with no xbows or infernos it is incredibly rare for a th10 to be 3 stared that low in cups.Quote:

Yes this idea will be unpopular because there are so many ♥♥♥♥ players that hide behind defences that are way too powerful in low cup range to make them feel good. But if they actually thought objectively for a second rather than selfishly they would realised not only the game but they also would be better off.
At the end of the day I don't really care anymore since I farm in m2. If the ♥♥♥♥ players want to hide in gold and then complain about pressing next 100 times so be it.
It's just a game. I wish people would leave each other alone about how they play and just play their own game. I farm in the lower cups. The best solution would be to give back the loot bonuses for attacking higher th. I don't agree with any of the suggestions btw. live and let live. People do that because it makes them feel good like you said. Well, if you take that away from them; they just stop playing the game. Supercell doesn't want that; I promise. Now, for the lower people getting raped by op players playing too low. They get frustrated; sure. But, they also get to see all the cool stuff they get to acquire by upgrading. Lots of them even buy gems to do so quicker. Supercell does want that; I promise. It is a business for them. It is in Supercell's best interest to leave it alone just like it is to motivate lower level players to purchase gems to level up their stuff quicker. All about the money. It is what it is.
