I'm not arguing that it makes what they are doing any less awful; never have. As I said above, I'm talking about another point entirely.

Thanks for your educational reply, really, but it doesn't clear waters at all, just smoke and mirrors. How do you chose those who are going to be "the top players"? Why all the people in those clans accept of losing trophies and waste their time? Just to see this super clan every 2 weeks winning the tournament, a clan where they are not even in? Come on, stop kidding please.
Actually, the players are kinda putting a gun to their own heads. There's a mentality that comes with it. Your trophies are all that matters, your rank is all that matters. And even being #1 isn't good enough, you have to be so high up noone can reach you. You have to set the records...if you don't do these things then you feel like a failure. It becomes engrained into your mind.
In an interview Jorge Yao said "After any loss he would stay online for 48 hours straight(before personal break was added) fueled by self loathing and redbull". This is what most of them feel. They feel that their life depends on that number.
I sincerely diidn't kow that...
So staying in the TOP, is exactly the same of being TH1 with -200 trophies...
You get just 3 cups for winning, and lose 40 for losing...
Now THAT doesn't make any sense.
Now I understand why Supercell does nothing against those "fluffybunny" techniques, because until they decide to fix the trophy system, that "fluffybunnny" is the only way to play in champs league...
By having players 11-50 intentionally leaving clan attacking and losing to the top10 in a clan the clans ranking will go up even though the total trophies of the players remains the same. The top10 players have the highest weight on their trophies towards clan points so moving trophies from the bottom to the top will increase the clans standing.
1. If you have the guts to post this on the forums don't be afraid to call out that "misinformed youtuber"
2. Cool Story Bro...
My complete support to you. I donno why the so called youtuber generalizes stuff,
I have not yet been at champ level yet, so that may not make me worthy of giving comments. But i dont think saying that everybody at champ league are 'che ating' is a good way, it shows immaturity imo.
imo, there should be a maturity in understanding what is "chea ting" and unethical. I completely agree and support OP for the fairness and transparency.
Pondering where should lines be drawn :
- There are multiple players on the forums that have more than one account, some even have 3 or more, isnt that against Tos ?
- Many are in the same clan donating to themselves, wouldnt that be called chea ting ?
-The second account does not meat clan requirements but since the main account player is elder or co-leader, he accepts himself, ist that unethical ?
- or donating/receiving the highest troops you desire exactly to yourself. I know couple of clan mates who donate lvl 6 giants or loons to their 30 level second account, and share replay that only with CC they could 3 star a base, Isnt this 'chea ting' ?
- When you are farming in gold, and you come across one of your family clan player(Or a friend) as opponent, what would you do ? would you skip it, attack with all your might, or give a shield. Isnt that 'unethical' that you are biased in attack based on the opponents name ??
- A person puts his TH outside to get a cheap shield and save resources, isnt that chea ting ?
- Youtuber gets gems through 'unetical' means of third party subscription and fooling people, but still calls others chea ting and unethical ... pity
To my understanding the gameplay at champ league should have different set of rules, same policies like in gold league will not work. Getting 1 cup for win and 30 to lose is really not a good position to be in.
