Anti-hog base design, impossible to 2/3 star!

I've been searching for a design that holds up against hog attacks since I was repeatedly getting smashed by them. I tried several bases that claimed to be anti-hogs but none of them prevented hog attacks from 2 starring me.

I decided to make my own TH9 hybrid anti-hog base. So far I've been attack 9 times; 5 lost, 4 were 1 stars and only 1 attack actually managed to do damage to my stores.

Evidence that the setup works!

Why put your wiz towers in the middle? Their range isn´t large enough to damage the hogs jumping around destroying your outer layer of defences.

the real key to having an anti-hog base is to have a CC is that hard to lure troops out.

For some reason, I can't see the base.:confused:

Because the idea behind this base is that the hogs move around the outside of the base and don't target the all important central defences. By having all four wizard towers in the middle it means that when the pack splits and some do go to the centre their is so much splash damage that they die too fast to take out the crossbows. Also the grouped up wizard towers acts as an added defence against air troops since the air defences aren't that close to the centre.

I agree that the CC being central would be ideal. But there are several advantage to having it in the position it is in. By having it close to one corner like that it encourages attackers to attack from that side. When the troops are lured they will have to drop a sufficient amount of archers/barbs/wizards etc to take out the troops which will mean they will undoubtedly launch their hog attack from the same corner to prevent towers killing off their damage dealing troops. This will result in the hogs heading around the base anti-clock wise and will lead them along the path of my carefully placed spring traps which usually take out 3 hogs at once. Additionally any troops that they dropped in that corner will be taken out by the bombs.

This is why the CC is where it is.

I don't use hogs a lot but doubt I would have any issue with that base. I think good hog users will 3 star it easily.

Also the wizard towers being out of range of the outside pack of hogs and the easily lured CC troops are both things that encourage hog attacks to take on my base. And they all fail which amuses me greatly considering how much dlix hog attacks cost :D

This base is revenge for all the times people have smashed my base with hogs haha >:-)

I'm afraid your wrong. I have been using this base setup in the 2500 trophy range and there have been many attacks from what I would consider to be 'good hog users' and none of them have managed anything more than a 1 star. Look at the photos I posted, they show that attackers have used 5 maxed out spells and high level heros to no avail.
