Suggestion: Base Net Worth

I like it, but I'm not sure that Supercell would want to go through the effort of changing the code that much for something irrelevant. But if so, I'd love it!

Unfortunately the amount you spent would likely be the figure most people would want from this and since they aren't tracking it, well the figure wouldn't be accurate.

They'd kind of have to do something like GG where they simply start tracking it now. However, in this case I don't think that would work so well.

You're drastically over-thinking it. It would be the total value of everything in your base, not what you spent. So in the rare cases that they make something more expensive, for example, the networth of your base goes up even though you didn't spend anything else.

Basically, it answers the question, "How much gold, elixir, and dark elixir would you have to spend to get this base?"
