Everything else maxed out? Upgrade TH. Don't worry about maxing walls at your level. And, try and upgrade teslas while TH is upgradingQuote:

Definately max Gold and Elixir upgrades at TH7. It wont get easier at higher TH's.
I'm a big supporter of maxing before you upgrade... probably because my mom made me clean my plate before leaving the dinner table. ;)

The best loot I got by far was at TH7, it dropped rapidly after that. This is the best chance you've got to get a head start on later levels with everything, including walls and containers maxxed to the hilt.

i made the stupid mistake of rushing th 8.... spent a week on th 8 lol
worst mistake ever! spent agesssss working on th 9 (teslas were lvl3) and walls lvl 7

My suggestion is to ALWAYS max out your base at TH6, 7 and 8. Before that it doesn't really make a big difference, while at TH9 it'd take years to max out lvl 10 walls and lvl 30 king and queen, so it's better to complete lvl 9 walls, get the heroes in the 20s and update your TH.
I maxed out everything except my mines and elixir collectors, which are all lvl 10, before upgrading to TH8.

Max out, so you can use the full potential of that town hall. You won't regret it. When I was a n00b, before I joined the forums, I rushed to town hall 10. Then after I joined the forums, I realized what I did wrong. Oh well I'm recovery from prematurity right now.
The thing is wall MATTERS~ Lvl 7 walls are just halfway in the 'wall journey'.
Most ppl are telling to max it NOW becoz farming for it ltr when u are in TH8 will get harder
due to loot penalty and at the start of TH8 u will find urself very vulnerable having equal TH lvl
but still having lvl 4 troops and lower defenses.
In the end, majority of ur attacks comes from ground troops, the usual farming army and
walls are there to slow them down! MAX THEM while u upgrading ur TH.

From what i understand from your original post you are nearly maxed at th7 with just walls an teslas left to do.
There are many pros to maxing everything including walls at every town hall level and this is normally what i would advise everyone to do.
It sounds to me however that if you did this you would be doing for me what is a cardinal sin even worse than upgrading town hall before maxing everything! Namely leaving builders unoccupied!
i would suggest therefore that you do the town hall upgrade and then farm hard to get enough gold to do your teslas and as many of your walls as you can whilst town hall is upgrading. It is certainly possible to farm all your walls up a lvl in the time it takes for a town hall 7 to upgrade to town hall 8, i know because that is what i did!

This depends. At TH 7, I say get your buildings, especially defensive, near maxed. Th 8 isn't a huge jump from 7; however, going from 8-9, or 9-10, would dictate a move higher sooner rather than later due to the addition of the xbow and inferno tower respectively.Quote:

With everything maxed, you just need time. You don't need any good plan of which upgrades you do first so you can defend and attack the stronger player.
but If you want more challenge and efficient way,
this actually depends on your TH level
TH1-6 -> There is no reason to max this TH level
TH7 -> The games actually starts here, you may need to max army camps and main troops before you go. Loot is good on this level, but Lv.4 troops is not so good, you can't raid strong protected storage yet.
Still no need to max everything here
TH8 -> This is the sweet spot, you have overpowered lv.5 troops, you should able to farm both collectors and storage. You will make much more gold than before.
You can go TH9 either you've maxed walls or maxed defence
TH9 -> You may want to max everything before you meet those strongest player in the game
If you want a more interesting and challenging game, just upgrade your town hall. But I also heard too much challenge won't be good for your health either.
This is not really an accurate portray of how long it takes....^^^ However, listen to the person who told you that walls are over rated. Yes, walls are helpful, but having a level 8 wall vs a level 7 wall, is not going to be a huge advantage. Besides, most strategies at TH 8 & 9 involve balloons and hogs, which aren't stopped by walls. And as I said before, upgrade the teslas while the TH is upgrading. Problem solved. 👌Quote:

When I started clashing, I made the mistake of always going for bases that I knew that I could 3-star, and I rushed my town hall. This continued until town hall 5, when I realized that it was taking forever to actually upgrade my stuff.
