Elixir to Dark elixir converter, hear me out.

Alright so hear me out, there would be a new converter where the wizards have found of a new way to convert elixir into dark elixir. It would cost 3 elixir to make 1 dark elixir obviously or 5 elixir to make 1, haven't thought of a correct calculation yet since dark elixir seems like a high resource but it would be a converter starting at level one and you can only convert a certain amount a day at level one. Starting at town hall 7 you would get a converter and you can only convert enough elixir to make 100-200 dark elixir. This is mainly just to use dark troops once a day or so forth and with more upgrades you can convert more and more each day. Just remembered this moment that you get dark elixir in crystal league, would like to see this though might help out. Don't know if this would be good or not, any ideas on this or recommendations? Give me some thoughts.

People convert elixir to dark elixir all the time by using lightning on dark elixir storages...

dark elixir needs to remain a rare ish resource!

Your idea of 'converting' resources is very creative, but unfortunately it can easily be abused, and it's been ruled out by Supercell, probably for one of the following reasons:
1.Players would convert resources instead of buying gems.
2.Supercell would lose profits due to a fall in gem sales.
