I farm with 20 WBers, 60 archers, 60 gobs, 60 barbs. Bait the defenses with barbs then send in WBers 2-3 at a time in the same location. Depending on wall lvl it should be fairly easy.
12 wall breakers, 100 gob, 50 barb, 38 arch

I attacked a triple wall base just yesterday
Sadly I didn't take a screen shot before I attack.
But for my case,
1) Used 3 lightning and cleared the 3 mortars in the middle of the bunker.
2) Archers on unguarded buildings
3) Choose a spot, usually the place without wizard tower
4) slowly deploy a mixture of barbs/archers/giants. at that spot
5) deploy wall breakers 2 by 2 depending on the timing of the mortars
6) deploy some gobs to make sure there are no mines/collectors nearby
7) deploy around 2 waves of barbs/archer/giants
8) hopefully before you break through, you still have enough troop for a final wave.
9) once its broken, spam your last wave + all your gobs in
10) profit
but for me, I wasted alot of time doing step 2, as I was clearing out the clan castle troops and barb king.
But even if I didn't had lightning strike, the general theory is same.

some giants to distract
mass gobs/barbs + heal + rage
Another method is
mass giant + heealer
but assuming no air def inside.

Are gaints necessary?

8 Gaints
Only 8 wbs
60 Archer
40 goblin
52 barbs
I need some edits for the ratios to be suitable , I'm reading and focusing
i personally use giants to tank.
but since the other 2 poster say its not required, maybe you can give it a shot without giants.
Just carry enough wall breakers to punch through.
16 wb (4 in each barrack) one barrack pumpimg out barbs and 3 barracks pumping out gobs. As said above barbs to distract, wb 2 at a time, gobs to clear nearby collectors and then all gobs to the middle. I always have a rage handy as well. Raged wb are lethal, if your quick the goblins can share the same rage, takes practice and careful timing. In my view i like using the rage rather than giants as it saves the elixir spend on troops.
You dont always need rage, i save it for when there are lvl 6 wiz towers in the middle or the middle area is spread out which means the goblins have further to travel.
If its a really poor base or the xbows freeze out wiz and mortars you can rage the goblins straight into the base and save your wb.

I tried them both and found giants to be stronger on larger bases - but I was able to get used to using barbs and find the expenses much reduced now - I love the extra elixir
