Me too, I won't go to sleep until I have got back on and filled all the machines, seen to my animals and planted some strawberries, potatoes, pumpkins

Haha yeah. It would drive me insane knowing that my fields weren't planted with long growing crops that will be much needed for the next day. And my machines filled to make whatever I'm low on or need for my next boat. If I weren't able to do that, then I'd constantly be checking throughout the night just so I can do all of that!!!

I know what you mean Hun. I've not been on mine much today, been trying to get the kids bank balance increased with the truck orders. I've had nothing in my RSS all day , just passing stuff onto them & using my fully mastered machines as well as theirs. But it kills me if I can't get my goats cheese & slow growing crops in :cool:

How's the weather down your end ? Hope you've escaped the floods. Them poor folk in Somerset , it must be heart breaking for them.

i would like to agree with you, but this is SOP for SC. It happens far too often to be just one of those times.

They have installed complete major updates without warning. I'm just stating that in the real business world of IT - this often unplanned outage of the core system would be unacceptable time after time.

Anybody want to predict the over/under for the number of fixes requiring outages, within the first 8 hours of the major update?

Again, this DOES NOT take away from what most likely will be a very interesting and fun update ..... But the issue of unplanned outages is a black eye to the project managers at SC.
