I don't know why, nor does it matter. The fact is, the idea has been presented before. It has been ruled out. There is little point in discussing ruled out ideas. That's the whole reason why they are ruled out in the first place.

No amount of questioning, arguing, posting, etc will make any difference once an idea has been ruled out.

Sounds like too much hassle for nothing vital
