TH9 Farming issue

hello guys,
Its been a week since i have upgraded my townhall to level 9.

The issue i am facing is that before upgrading to TH9 i used to get bases with 200k+ resources while attacking however for the past week i have spent almost 100k everyday in search of a good base but 200k is far off, I fail to get a 50k bases to attack.

i used to farm and collect 800k+ in a day but now i fail to even make 100k

its really frustrating, any of you guys here facing similar issue? what is the solution to this, please help

Because i was a premmie TH 9 at first, (not too crazy, withoutusing gems, but i went up with th too fast) I can`t really say how farming is as a beginning Th 9. But i can tell you how it is now:
I use bam in gold league 2 or high 3. This works great for me, I can farm in avarage around 700k/h+. So farming isn`t really a problem for me.
So I can only say:
upgrade your offense, for example giants lvl 6 receives a huge boost, also barbs lvl 6 are great

I'm in exactly the same boat as you... Sort of.

I just upgraded my Th and I found terrible loot. Out of frustration I just used balloons and minions to trophy hunt to maybe get better loot bonuses.

Though as I reached around 1700 trophies the loot got better. Was beginning to see collector raids (600k loots) when I was barely even seeing 50k+ in just 1400-1500. Just raise (:

Although I have to admit it's still pretty bad and I'm still riding shields but you at least see some collector raids

Im sorry to hear this. I would suggest increasing your trophy count to 2000 cups and farming there. Maybe you can find my base with full storages from the loot up there :)

I actually wouldn't recommend this as a new TH9. You will get hog rolled too often in crystal leagues. Try the 1700 cup range that a few others have mentioned. I only do a few raids a day and usually get 1.5 - 2.5 mil gold a day.

Just curious, are you guys aware of the loot multiplier and how loot penalties work?

Here is how much loot one can possibly take (before considering loot penalties):

TH Level	% Available to be Stolen	Cap	Storage Amount to Reach Cap
1-5	20%	200k	1.000M
6	18%	200k	1.1111M
7	16%	250k	1.5625M
8	14%	300k	2.1428M
9	12%	350k	2.9167M
10	10%	400k	4.0000M

Here is the loot penalty breakdown:

• 5% for attacking someone with a Town Hall (TH) 4+ levels lower than the attacker's.
• 25% for attacking someone with a TH 3 levels lower than the attacker's.
• 50% for attacking someone with a TH 2 levels lower than the attacker's.
• 90% for attacking someone with a TH 1 level lower than the attacker's.
• 100% for attacking someone with a TH level equivalent to the attacker's.

Essentially, you get penalized when you're a higher townhall attacking a lower townhall.

A TH8 attacking a TH7 will earn more than a TH9 or TH10 attacking that exact same TH7.

This is why you shouldn't upgrade your TH too soon.

The loot penalty isn't the problem. The problem is the game has become so wildly inconsistent with loot and the amount of Inactives available per player online. I am also th9 and Last night I was profiting 1.5 mil per hour gold and then I logged on this morning for a bit and l literally went negative 200k over a 40 minute stretch before I logged off in disgust.

Its just a total ♥♥♥♥ shoot with loot so until supercell does something about it we are all hosed.

This may also be due to inconsistencies in times of the day. If you think about it, a lot of people raid just before work/school, after work/school, and before bed time. I try to raid before these times for most people and do very well. I work earlier than most east coast americans so if I can do a raid or two before 6:30-7am eastern time, I have pretty good luck finding decent loot. When I attack again around 3-4pm eastern, I find a few good raids. The next time I try a couple of raid is usually around 8-9pm eastern time, which is usually a ♥♥♥♥ shoot. I may find something, I may not.

As you can see, I have two good times to raid, and one not so good time, which happens to be when everyone else is on at the same time. Try adjusting the times you raid if you can, it make a difference!

sorry but isnt the whole point of farming is to have low cup range so that collecting is more and the base isnt attacked frequently by gold and crystal leagues to save resources?

Having a higher range and collecting 500k and then some crystal league guy loots the guts out of it...whats the point then?

Higher league: more powerful bases: likely more loot within their storages.

League bonus: higher.

But my clan mates who are TH 9 claim the best loot came between crystal 3 to gold 1.
