Maintenance Servers Offline

Hi SuperCell and forum users,

Is there any chance that you can send in game notices about when you plan to take down the servers and make the game unplayable?

I would appreciate this courtesy as i imagine many other people that play your game and dont keep in regular contact with these forums would also.

At the moment i am getting 5 minute warnings, effective as 0 warning because i cant attack. It would be nice to know when the servers are going down ahead of time.

He has a valid point there Prophet. Not every clasher is on the forums..

It's a good idea especially with people boosting their barracks and what not. But there are times when maintenance breaks can go wrong and the next problem arising would be Supercell not accurately informing people.

I got a message while attacking:

Due to maintenance the game will be shut off within 5 minutes. During the maintenance it isn't possible to attack.

Good idea tbh. As you say, not every player uses the forums. All it takes is a simple inbox message a day before the update.

It is announced in-game, on the forums and on Facebook! You want a personal e-mail or text message as well, once maintenance is coming? Come on man...I understand not all clashers are in the forums, but it's not rocket science to just read before you post, right?

Given a lot of boosts last for 2 hours, SuperCell should fairly announce on Facebook/Twitter and the SC forum 2 hours before it will happen.

If they truly cared for players value for money they would do that.

Only exception to problems which are keeping players out of the game and obviously need to be attended to asap.

I don't think the update now falls into that category.

A message to the in-game inbox is the right place for the announcement
