I thought I was prepared...I may just boycott this achievement (made some coin with the event though, but still--28/30??!! Ugh!!!!
That attempt was just practice. No worries.
Any lessons learned to share with those still trying to complete this as well?
Agree with Holidae, you did a profitable practice run. I too missed my first TT 3 attempt by one order and had to quit playing for two days to recover. So, sending you a virtual hug in sympathy.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that **hugs**. If I would've known you were attempting it then I would've offered my assistance if it were needed. It's ok, that was just practice. They have to be on your friends list and before you start you make sure the helpers farm is centered on your list so you can find them in a flash.
Either use KIK or start a thread announcing the run and you can communicate to your helper when you get an order you can't fill. Depending where you are in the run, they can quickly sell you what you need or encourage you to keep going. Generally the only time you need a back up is when you get more than three unfillable orders early on in the run or if you level up during the thing. There is no shame having a back up. It's no different than looking for the item yourself, but it is much quicker. And time is important.

Edit. Mosey dear, I just checked, both my farms are a couple levels higher than you , so get prepping and give me a yell. I'll start stocking my little farm and back you up. And since Jess offered too, she can back me up. It'll be fun!
