I disagree because, unlike buildings, lab upgrades don't require a builder.

I disagree because, unlike buildings, lab upgrades don't require a builder.
This is just like asking for a boost option on builders. And I'm 99.9% sure that will never happen.
I presume that was in response to mine?
I was thinking that it was a LONG time many days (not a 45 minute max troop build) and that the similarity lay there.
and most importantly you CAN speed these up already, in just the same way you can a building.
just press the ...
"I am sick of waiting, gimme this now" button.
The lab is not a production buildilng. It would make it easier, but the lab is no problem compared to walls. Walls take a lot more time to upgrade than the troops in the lab. I bet everyone finishes lab a long time before they finish their walls, so I prefer cheaper walls to even out the time a little.
Why is everyone making this so complicated? First off, walls being cheaper and easier to finish i agree with completely, but start a new thread for that.
Second, i need i make a distinction to the 'finish now' and 'boost' buttons. They're not the same. There is already a 'finish now' button on the lab and everything else. Just please give us the opportunity to boost IN ADDITION to the finish button on the lab! I dont care what it cost and we wouldn't be the judges of that either. Supercell would make up a formula that would be fair if we're able to boost the research in the lab.
NONONO bosting the lab is way too OP IMHO
They are essentially the same because you can simply wait until the "finish now" cost is equal to whatever your boost cost would be and do it then.
What you're really suggesting is that SC offer some sort of discount boost rate which would grant you more time for less gems than the finish cost does. That doesn't really make a whole lot of sense in the context of things that take days to construct like troop leveling and buildings.
Either the boost amount would be prohibitive, or it'd be way too good of a deal.
we can't boost spell production cause it is some chemicals properties (with some magic)
you can boost your car performance by putting nitro in it
you can boosts a machine the same way, fixing parts upgrading gear, pushing the machine to the max
but have you ever made beer? you cannot put something in beer that make it faster to produce without altering the taste
at least it's the way i see it
edit: oops, sorry i'm way over topic, i tought we were talking about spell factory....
well i think the same... i don't like the idea of "boosting" laboratory research OR if it is made... i would put a 50% chance of failure... because i work in a laboratory research and when our Superior wants us to go faster... sometimes, we have to cut the corner then bam... one little thing drop off your attention and boom the results are not accurate.
