False dichotomy, I know!
Let's get into the grey areas and talk more often.
Do you tend to use your clan castle troops more for raiding or to have as an added defense against raids on your base?
I tend to use them only for defense. I ask for defensive troops such as archers and wizards in my requests, and so it's annoying when people who speak English donate giants and healers to me.
I tend to ask for giants (4), they are excellent for defense.
I don't use CC troops for raids
We mostly donate wizards, archers, and dragons so they are used by me for both raiding and defense at any given time.
To me Defence is most important, but I use CC in attacks when I need to. I have a second profile in my clan I use as Dragon Factory so I'm never wo protection. At least not the first defence.
The only thing that pleases me more than giants coming out of a defending cc is a healer.Quote:

I use them on most of my attacks. I request troops as soon as I come back from a raid so they are there for defence when I log out in between army builds and sitting there ready for the next raid if I don't get attacked.
