Are all these complaint threads annoying or helping get the point to SC?

Over the past month, over 500 threads have been posted about bad loot, clan wars, and other pointless stuff. When I say pointless, I am trying to say that these threads don't get us anywhere. Clan Wars is in development, and we will see it before 2050:rolleyes:. SC takes out some inactive bases because with all inactives, this is "Goblins Taking Gold" more than "Clash of Clans." There are some real threads like the next button, which are helpful. Do you think these threads are helpful or killing forums?

They could be a bit of both as I imagine SC do read them.

But I don't get why we need to have several of the same complaints contsantly.

That I find to be beyond annoying.

Can't answer the poll because in all honesty they are both annoying and helpful. Moderators have already been on some of the threads explaining that even though there is a lot of complaining, as long as it stays civil and informative it helps SC with things they need to look at.

So, I would vote it is helping and hurting. So I can't vote.

I think they would be more helpful if they would stay on one thread not 20 separate threads about the same loot issue. Would also help clear up the forums a bit.

While I agree that the loot threads are completely annoying, I believe it puts the situation in better perspective when we see all of these threads.

Then why reply? Do you simply check every posting on these forums just so you can leave ignorant comments? Seems so. Do you really think every post on these forums only effects TH10?

You don't need 100 threads to get the point across, one thread with a lot of activity can have the same affect.

I just want to see folks who are no more than two town halls ahead of me and one town hall below me when I go raiding. When I go raiding and I have to next passed a dozen villages that are th10-11, it's just a waste of time and gold. I don't think it's too terribly unreasonable for SC to make it so people don't have to push next so much at all. Even down in Silver 2 I see villages that should be in Gold 1 or above. The league system of assigning raid matches is flawed, boring, and discouraging.

Ah, well I meant the big black jobs with the drawbridge and the skull-laden walls around it. Anything that has 50-100% more real estate than me is impossible without me getting another 75 upgraded wall units, another army camp, another barracks, etc etc etc.

Since the creation of TH10 and the lack of loot, SC has tried a few things to try and help the loot. They are taking tiny steps because they are afraid to put too much loot into the game and make it too easy as well as destroy their own profits. These steps they have taken are:

1) added a 7th mine and pump for th10 players. (This helps a little bit)

2.) increased league bonuses (this also helps a little bit)

3.) changed the loot system allowing for larger raids but also potentially larger loses (this change probably did not have the intended effect as it essentially made the game easier much harder for casuals who probably make up the largest player base in the game and it ended up having a negative effect on the clash economy. While i like idea of a bigger reward for taking down a tougher base, additional gold is not being created in the case of the extra collector and increased league bonuses and gold is merely being swapped around.)

4.) spells were changed to cost elixir instead of gold (very helpful change and probably the biggest positive impact on the economy)

5.) increased the gem max for obstacles and created a gem box to inject additional gems into the economy while lowering the cost of barracks boosting (this should in theory have a slightly positive impact on the economy creating additional gold through league bonuses as players might start boosting their barracks. Again, a majority of the extra raiding is just gold swapping between players as the league bonuses are still minimal for the must practical farming leagues.)

So SC is doing stuff about the loot. You just have to be patient. I'm sure once the gem box is added to the game they will continue to add slight changes to the game until there is a good balance between how easy or hard loot is to gain at th10. You have to remember, if SC makes loot too easy to get, they can ruin their own game. They are being cautious, and going at a pace slower then the playerbase would like, but i understand why.

OP - You cant lump 500 threads together and just make a poll asking if they are helpful or pointless... The fact that u labeled them "complaints" right from the start gives me the feeling that u are biased in the first place.

While some multiple similar "pointless complaints" threads quite be quite annoying, u can actually choose to read the OP post then stop there ya..

And there are a lot of genuine feedback threads that are typed with the good intention to really make the game better.

I didn't say it would be solved by cluttering the forums. One thread can have the same results, key word there. If SC doesn't want cluttered forums, they need to make an official response or actually do something about the issue. Yes, there have been several clues that they are 'working on it', but to the casual player that may glance at the forums, they will not know of these responses. The whole topic is disastrous and the way SC is currently handling it, is pathetic. It doesn't help that most of their actual responses to anything are naive.
