I'm a TH7 relatively close to maxing before upgrading to TH8. I have managed to farm about 6500 dark elixir towards my BK but it's slow going. I was wondering what is the best trophy range to farm DE at TH7? I'm currently farming at about Silver II/Silver I.

I just hit Th7 and are curious about this myself, cant seem to se alot of DE at Silver II, so im guessing Gold III?
G3 & G2 have MUCH better loot for DE. It gets better as you trophy up, but also as you climb you can expect to get 2/3 starred on defense if you have any kind of decent loot in your storages because you are such an easy mark.
Climb and loot, but expect to get revenged or beaten badly on defense. It was worth it to me and I had no real trouble at TH7 with any of the DE research or BK upgrades.
Now I am at TH eight, and it is not as easy, but still very doable.

At Th7 you have to get more than 1450 trophies up to 1650 for DE. Remember to have still 3 lightning spell ready and revenge those big guys, which will beat you there. When you can't beat them with your army then wait till there is more than 1500 DE in the storage and then throw all your lightnings in. You will get from 400 to 900 DE from it.Quote:

I'm TH7 and I've stolen 94k DE. And I found a lot of de when I was pushing in crystal, so I would try maybe 1800-2200.

while you can get it on TH7, well it's a bit harder with lv.4 troops...
I got the 10K DE in 2 days with Lv.4 troops...
Just upgrade your TH and get Lv.5 troops, You can get DE much easier and much more with the green archers...
So whats the difference between high level TH's three starring us lowly TH 7's just because they can, and a lowly TH hitting a high level TH's DE with a lightning strike?Quote:

Okay cheers guys :) I'll trophy push a bit then farm again probably try gold III or II crystal may be a bit out of my league just yet! Also, 94k DE at TH7 sounds impressive so congrats to whichever poster that was!
I hang around the gold III and there is some, but it slow going. I figure that 500 DE is worth going after. I don't attack unless they have at least that much. It takes a while but you can slowly build up for your upgrades. Currently I have a level 2 barb king and half way to level 3 with DE.
The biggest problem is keeping trophy levels in the 1400 range. Be prepared to lose trophies going after DE. Don't even worry about 1 starring them. The goal is DE. Also, you get revenged a lot and take a beating, losing more trophies. So go after DE a few times a day, then build your trophy count back up.
My worry is getting enough for a level 5 barb king. 20000 DE in storage will bring lots of attacks.

Completely focus on DE, which means forget gold and elixir. Start pushing trophies. The higher you go the better: lots of loot to lighten in the storages, and a lot of uncollected DE in the Drills.
Before you put down 3 lightning spells, check that the storage has AT LEAST 2k DE.
Also, getting gems from bushes and trees is easy, so use 10 gems for spell boosting, sit for 2 hours and farm like a ♥♥♥♥' KING.
I'm at 2300 trophies as a TH7 and am almost done with my BK and DE troop upgrades.
Yes I'm getting 2-3 starred from revenges, but guess what, they can't steal nothin!
Keep at it and you'll be done in no time ;)
