Rigging your townhall

Does anyone else like to rig your townhall with tesla?

iv rigged mine so it looks like you can safely just sniper it with a few archers. As soon as the archers are put down my tesla are activated. This forces the enemy inwards to attack my tesla, my tesla are in range of two archer towers, a mortar and two hero's activate.

I get some hilarious fail replays and am yet to have a player take my townhall without using nearly all their troops. And just for lolz I usually revenge and 100% the attacker with a super strong overnight army to rub salt in the wound.

I just love being mean on this game :rolleyes:

I understand it's for entertainment purposes, but... Rigging your town hall with teslas and having them fail defeats the purpose of putting your Town Hall outside in the first place...

No it works just fine.... Most the time they get my TH and give me a free shield. They just have to put in a lot more work than expected.

I really enjoy looking at my defence reply's.... Much more amusing than a simple TH snipe.

Really? I have come across hundreds upon hundreds. I've done it myself 10-15 times as well when I get bored and want some funny replays. 2 people in my clan have "trapped TH" with teslas, spring traps etc as well. Can be fun and a nice change of pace for some laughs.

Maybe he put the TH outside NOT for a shield, but solely for the purpose of getting some entertainment. Ever think of that? :rolleyes:

doesnt affect me at all.... i usually attack from the other side of the base and take the loot. it actually helps me that you put all your telsas away from your gold storages... with the scarcity of loot since the change in loot system i guess every bit helps me

Usually, the point of exposing your town hall completely is so that people quickly attack you and do not even think of wasting their troops on your base. If someone rigs their town hall, I full on attack them. If someone's town hall is not rigged, I use 4 archers to win and move on to the next base. You essentially are asking for someone to 100% you.

Loki maybe you should come up to crystal 1 league.. its pretty hard to not win these days with the lvl 5 freeze spells and hero auras

Not really, there are a lot of noobs that are so determined to follow through with the snipe. I have a TH10 clanmate with a maxed base using a rigged hall; his replays are hilarious.

But I love how noob TH8s and TH9s try rigged halls, I just thank my lucky stars and easily take everyone of their storages. :)

Possibly... I usually hangout in crystal 3.

I might post a screen shot of my defence log to tomorrow.... I prob lose on average 5k of each per attack. Most iv ever lose is one gold storage.

Yeah... My base is only strong enough these days to survive without my tesla and not lose anything. I designed it myself, it mazes giants around the rim. They always go for the spot on the right. Giants break in and follow the path iv get leading them around the first layer.

The tier one troops get eaten up in front of the gold storage by my mortar and xbows. Inferno towers make short work of hogs and loons.

Here's how I see it: Some people, myself included, enjoy watching real defenses, in which the attacker goes all-out for your loot (or 1-2 stars if you're trophy pushing), and, win or lose, you watch a good fight. Other people enjoy beating up on people worse than they are just because they can. Both types get entertainment from their defenses, and my only issue with the easy-to-amuse people who trap their "exposed th" is they make people less likely to attack those of us who just want a free shield.

Also, easy way to beat corner ths with teslas- drop your archer queen (if you have one) as far away from them as possible, she'll be out of range. You can also trigger traps and kill heroes/cc while she's taking out the th.

That means most of the people in Crystal 1 and up... Pretty sure they all used hogs. To the OP I don't see the point in rigging th tbh. If you want to be sniped then don't rig it. If you don't want to be sniped then protect it.

Of course you like using hogs. You can't use any other army because you can't take out bases without hogs, plain and simple. Noobz like you shoulnd stop playing.

Yes mate.... I went to th10 early just for the infernos. 100% worth it in my opinion, those towers alone make your bases so so much stronger its unreal.

When you have TH10 it would become clearer. Now with Disco Infernos TH10 players are rarely 'genuinely' attacked unless they are in Masters.

All my TH10 clan mates are enjoying relative immunity thanks to that upgrade.

As such rigged halls are popping up to make things interesting for them.

Don't hate the game, just adapt. Assuming you are TH9 just make an anti hog base, it's not ideal but necessary in todays conditions. You won't lose loot to them anymore - unless they are a pro hogger...so be it.

The problem is Loki, it seems that a lot of people here have forgot this. People love to hate and trash people here when they do things that "don't make sense to them" for this or that reason. Good on you for not caring and doing what you enjoy!

PS... I just got rolled by 35 L5 hogs and L17 and L18 heroes, but I'll live... The replay was fun to watch!

Now now come on, we all have different playing styles, there's no reason to call anyone noob or anything just because they play differently then you do.

I have to admit, during FE, I showed some hilarious replays of when I came up against booby trapped TH's and got owned! So funny! But yeah, when I can I do try to wipe these out now, sometimes still with hilarious results.

i log on watch a hilarious reply break my shield, either revenge the poor guy who attacked me or go after some epic loot depending how I feel. Then I log off and repeat this cycle about 7 to 10 times a day.

Its a fun and laid back way to play. No pressure, great reply's and some epic loots. Sitting in a TH10 base, smacking players with hogs or balloons is so enjoyable.

Agreed, I go with that motto probably 95% of the time.

Just can't help but to really dislike super low level players thinking they are cool for making Masters. I am fine with literately everything else in coc. :o

No, its getting stale because I can't find loot. The only thing that made this game addicting was the good loots which put you in the mood to play more to find more loot. That aspect is gone and it destroyed the game for me.

Thats fair enough mate... To be honest i always seem to be very lucky with loot.

Im also getting good at hitting level 10 bases with inferno towers with balloons (i usually get two or more gold storages) so that's helped my out al lot.

For me the only reason I like to play is because i enjoy designing bases and attacking players, my base progressing and loot is only a bonus.

Im actually loving the challenge of taking on hard bases with infernos right now. But if loot and base progression is your focus i can see where your coming from.

I used to rig my townhall. Then, I realized it was pointless and that my base was getting destroyed anyways, so why do it? I got a few people and laughed at them, but overall it wasn't worth it for me.

Just 2 cents for everyone who wants to deal with this kind of guy :)

1. MAKE SURE the TH is FAR AWAY from any kind of defenses/heroes/clan castle. If it's pretty close to defenses/heroes/clan castle, just skip cause it's not worth it <<<< READ THIS RIGHT HERE

2. Then try to put just 1 SINGLE ARCHER (NO BARBARIAN, THEY TRIGGER TESLAS AND TRAPS NEAR IT) to test if there're any trap or tesla near it
3. If it's safe and nothing happens, then you're free to put more archer at the same place you put your first archer
4. If there're teslas, just put like 10 - 20 barbs then 10 - 20 archer evenly to the teslas (they're easy destroy)

5. IF YOU DO GET TRAPPED BY THAT GUY, JUST LEAVE AND LET GO. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TROOPS. YOU CAN JUST GO FOR NEXT TH SNIPE AND GET MORE TROPHY THAN WAIT 15 MINUTES TO PREPARE YOUR TROOPS.

This is nice and easy way to avoid getting owned. Let's make sure no one give them any shield and just let them get owned by full army attack. :cool:

Yes, but when I revenge snipers I know that they are pushing... so I drop 300-400 trophies if need be and then 100% them for 59 trophies! I don't care that I'm going to lose resources :cool:

I like it. I am similar in that regard.

Just wait until the sniper gets further and further up, and smack them for 50+ cups. Great way to boost up in cups if I drop low, and to show these guys they have climbed much higher then their base can handle. :cool:

When this happens I will usually just go for your base since i have about 200 level 5 archers and it's pretty cheap, or I will just surrender and let other player hit you, especially when you have decent resources

I don't have a problem with people rigging their TH, but apart from the few 'gotcha' moments, it doesn't really seem to help them. When I'm farming, I don't care too much about trophies except to stay in Crystal, but I'll generally be nice and try to give the player a shield after I take their loot. If the player has an exposed TH, I'll usually go for it, but if it's rigged, I try to stay under 40% after taking loot and leaving without giving a shield.

But a TH 10 bragging about not giving up much loot while having an exposed TH, sitting in Golds. Bravo...Bravo.

When this happens to me i stop going for the TH immediately . Then i assassinate the heroes cc troops( if accessible) and then zap de after that i get up to 39% and leave

If your base is weaker than mine or two town hall levels higher, then I will do the following to you:

1. Stop attacking your town hall immediately

2. Kill your heroes and cc

3. Set off as many traps as possible

4. Storm your storages if loot is good and my army strong

5. Lightening your DE if loot is good and my army weak

6. No shield for you under any circumstances

so 2 Infernos lvl3 just bh th sent on multie ofc
max teslas and all traps infront of th
2 xbow bh walls but withingrange and At within range too
both Heroes on either side....
hilariousss! de drained rather quickly

LOL, For special people there is a special hell which would be rigged with teslas and level 4 xbows and lvl 3 Infernos within range :D
