anyone here done it without gems?
i just had 34000 DE and got off for 20 minutes and was raided for 1700 by dragons and archers... i guess i might as well keep the 16 hour shield.
i feel like i hsould just buy the 5 dollars of gems to avoid this kind of hassle and heart ache
Go back at the person and get your DE back, if you can not, go looking for it as I think the DE is becoming more available.Quote:

Yes. I did however camp out under 200 trophies to get the dark elixir.

Hate that when that happens. If someone raids DE, I go to their village and revenge em with three lv4 lightning spells on their DE storage and drills.
I just farmed 40K Dark Elixer now and bought her without the help of any gems. It is possible but it took awhile. I didn't log off for about 5 hours in order to farm the last 5k elixir since I've been lightning attacked for over 1k Dark Elixir several times now.Quote:

So I've gotten barely over 20k before they take 1000 each raid, it's as easy as lightning spells.
an archer queen would take forever in my mind and I gave up, continued upgrading barbarian king.
im for the lightning rods against lightning spells, and I'm for not allowing so much dark elixir being taken in one raid, very difficult to get 40k.
I also did it without gemming. Upgrading dark storage and drills helps
my townhall 9 finishes in 2 hours and I have 40,000+ dark elixer without gemming. I am ready for my archer queen
