What if you could look into the future of your in game experience?
So I am about to hit the upgrade button and make the leap to TH10. I rarely post on the forums, but read threads here for hours every day, so I am a bit nervous and also a bit excited about this next chapter in the game.
A lot of people here are having no luck farming at TH10, while others aren't having many issues. Some say the loot has never been better, some are rage-quitting. It reminds me of the days on the forums when people were wearing signs that read "THE APOCALYPSE IS NEAR", warning everyone to not go to TH9—personally, I've never had an issue with loot at TH9.
So it occurred to me... (this might need to go in ideas sub-forum, but since I'm not actually proposing any new change, just getting a conversation started, I will post it here) .... a big WHAT IF?...
WHAT IF during your TH upgrade periods you were subjected to the in game economy of the TH you are moving to?
Could that be an added improvement to the game? A glimpse into the future of your in game experience?
So for instance, I hit my TH10 upgrade button today and can attack as a TH9 as if I am living in a TH10 world to get a feel for what loot is like, and if this will be a positive change for me in game, or not. I have 14 days to evaluate the change and I am still able to cancel the upgrade or continue with it.
I don't think many negatives could come from this except some people smartening up and canceling a TH and leaving less premmy villages out there for farmers. I'm curious what everyone thinks.
