Is this the only way to "farm" at TH10 now?

Many of my th10 clanmates, or maybe all of them, are just sitting in masters and c1 with the town hall inside using the gold they get on walls, so they wont have gold in storages therefore wont get attacked and lose trophies or lose resources..

I was using baloonions at c1 and masters and it was pretty good honestly, even though i lost some gold to attackers (specially when getting attacked like 3 times in a row and losing 100k gold each attack) and I couldnt use cheap troops to raid I could search a few times and find some loot, and even some inactives sometimes.

Now I'm back to crystal 2 as i attacked some people going only for their storages not caring for trophies and I have to press next one million times before finding anything raidable, which is incredibly boring.. So i guess my clanmates option is the best one at TH10, until they fix the loot system, if they ever fix it

Loot is better the higher you go and league bonus doesn't have a loot penalty. At 3200+ you find 500-900k gold attacks.

But you are online most of the time so you dont get attacked right ♥♥? You dont attack once and then go offline right? I cant afford to stay online for over 20 mins, ive got stuff to do unfortunately

There are ways to stay online with minimal effort.

I am a recent TH10 and I have had no issues with loot in gold 1. I dropped down after a trophy push week, and I was also finding quite a few inactives around 2100. Honestly I feel the loot issues are no more.

Just saw your village, you are a th10 for how long? Be careful before saying loot is good, ive seen plenty of th10 changing their minds about it after a few days.

Sky seems to feel it's better now but I don't trust Gold league anymore. It has betrayed me too many times.

Not for me.. Im not bringing my ipad with me when im working and driving / visiting clients. And when im home Im studying now so i really wanna be focused, I dont think thats an option for ppl who just want to play without worrying too much about the game

I got no problem keeping my builders busy while farming in gold League I actually just found a 700k gold raid at about 1700 trophies, couldn't get it all unfortunately with my barch army but there are some good inactive targets.

I switch it up with bami if I can't attack frequently, the TH 9:s are good targets and there's alot of ground facing xbows.

I did mention I was a recent TH10. There is no doubt that offered loot is lower than what it was for TH9, but I have learnt to be satisfied with 150k gold raids as well. After all, the upgrade times for TH10s are so long it would kinda be counterproductive if TH10s were getting 300k+ loots from inactives all the time. Staring at your full gold coffers for a week isn't fun.

The problem is, people go through long stretches where 150k is hard to come by.

I find good loot between 1700-2100 most of the time

I find there are more in the morning and early afternoon (UK time)

Thin shirt pockets can allow touch screens to work through it.

I am a th10 farming in gold 1. Getting enough loot to get by. The key is learning the loot trends. There are some days and times that are better than others.

I might be able to use pants pockets for my oldest jeans that are thinning out. I do know you can use touch screens with your legs through the thin smooth pocket lining...I upgraded my first lv8 wall by sitting down with my phone in my back pocket....right through the lining and how should I say...my undergarments?

Try it, it's important to know if you already got a couple of CoC pants :) Never tried it myself but I'm sure it was necessary for your TH 9 Trophy push. And that is, by far, the best "my first lvl 8 wall" history I've Heard.

Currently in M2-3 and last defend was 2d ago and prior to that 4d. Not sure what the deal is, but I'm not getting attacked when I log off. There are times when I carry max available and other times at least showing 200k gold (never less than that). Elixir always showing max and same with de.

I would say depends how u want to farm.
If u don't mind those 100-200k raids once every 10-15mins, then head to gold league.
Otherwise, going to cry or masters, doing 300-400k raids once every 30-40mins, could be another option.
TH10 should be able to do 500k-1.5m per hr at gold, depending on wat time u play n your farming strategy:)

I'm doing the same kind of things as your clanmates. I maxed my defenses, so I put my gold storages outside my base and upgrade one wall segment at a time when I have the gold. I've been climbing in masters the last three days and haven't seen an attack yet.

My clan leader is a lvl 123 Th10 farming in gold.

He seems to be doing fine with giants/archers/barbs/gobs.

He was a premature Th10 sometime ago, but is now very close to maxing his defenses.

Ive been in master with my townhall outside it not really that difficult, the best part is that you get attacked instantly when you log off, and they dont even bother with resources no matter how much you got, also it is a lighting strike free zone ;)

Ummm, do you even know anything about this guy? He has been a th10 for a little over a month now and has had left over gold to do what like 50 lvl 11 walls now on top of upgrading 4 of his builders. He obviously knows what he is doing and saying. Take his advise.

P.S. He's a farmer. He maxed Th9 completely (including walls and heros).

Sounds like a lot of hard work. :)

Tried Gold and nearly broke my iPad.
Tried Crystal III and hurt my thumb from Nexting.
Trying Crystal II and I with loons/minions and finding good loot, not as good as S.S, but I won't get in trouble for constantly touching and can go do other stuff between raids without loot worrys.

I guess from Supercell's side this is actually good and working. I'm guessing they want players to raise their trophies and compete amongst their own THs. They don't want near maxed TH10s down in Gold league putting a lot of newer players off the game.

if you were TH10, don't farm below 2600, loot so bad below 2600 .Farm above 2800 cups, easily find 300K++ gold/elix & 2K++ DE

I am in the master league right now and usually always 2-6k de for the take. And most of the storages are close to the outer walls. So not to tuff to get to the gold. But just remember the higher trophy count you go the more maxed defenses you will face to get the loot.

Is it REALLY worth going up to master? When I was up there last, in October, every single attack on me was Hogs - and every time I logged out I got smashed. The targets didn't even seem good... but that was the old loot system. Opinions?

Currently farm as C3 occasionally dropping into G1 and whilst on average I'll take a 100k target, it's not toooo bad. And with my base design I very rarely get hit back down here, most just take the TH ...

It also really depends on the time of you day you can raid, and most importantly, what time it is in countries where many others play.

For example, while Icarus is obviously a nuts farmer and kudos to him, he lives in Asia and therefore raids during the day while most North Americans are offline. While I'm sure there are a lot of clashers in Asia, there are probably way more in North America, giving him the upper hand in matchmaking.

I'm in Europe and I notice that between the morning and early afternoon, while most of the US is still sleeping, I'm finding collector raid after collector raid in Gold II/I. Now, it's 4pm here, North Americans are getting up and checking clash, and here I am on my 1000th Next. What to do?

Go live in Asia.

I was in master league last week, and while looting was good when you could find a target that didn't have maxed defenses, so for kicks a giggles, I went down below 200(Reads: Two Hundred) and there are tons of Level 8-9-10 Townhalls down there. Its crazy how many of them were active too. Lots had maxed storages on the TH8's so a TH8 or 9 would cleanup down there. Sadly, its not good for a TH10.

I also tried this as a TH9 but imo it was not worth it at all because of the pain it is to stay sub-200. Unless you stay online for hours at a time it is pointless because as soon as you leave the game you get raided constantly. I was getting raided 5-10 times every 2-3 minutes... literally! It was nuts. The best was one guy in our clan who went to 0. He then logged off and in less than ten minutes he was at 400 trophies! That the thing though, the bases I was seeing weren't noobs or premies. They had well developed bases and their builders were busy. I saw a couple TH-10's with lvl 2 and 3 inferno towers. IDK if its people just looking to get away from the crystal/master leagues grind...just like I was. Now its time to go back to work....better warm up my "nexting" finger.
