I think it has definitely gone up. Used to frequently get 2 or 3 gems from mushrooms and bushes...5 or 6 now.. 4 from a trunk...its adding up quicker I have the impression.

I found they give about as often as before, maybe alittle less but really it is barely the same.
And they do give better so, overall, for myself it is better....
i went up of 15gems in the last week....
before update it took me like 2-3 weeks to get that much...
my gf goes up really fast, she started an account 2-3 weeks after me and got like 100gem more than me (she use them as much as me even more since somtimes she use 1-2 to finish an upgrade) but usually we just keep them to get our builder
My average seems about the same, right around 1 per.
Before, I used to remove 5 and get about 10 gems. Now, I remove 5 and get about 12 gems. So, it has gone up, but only slightly. It seems like there are more 0s than before, but it is balanced out by the 4s, 5s, and 6s.
Definite difference, no questions. I got 7 gems for mushrooms a few days ago and have gotten 5 gems from trunks numerous times now. Sure, I've got 0 a few times as well but that used to happen before the update and should continue to happen now anyways.
People need to stop this "gimmi gimmie gimmie" attitude as they just make themselves look like conspiracy theorists or children. Be thankful of what you DO get for free and if it is not enough for you, either buy some gems or don't use as many. Easy.
It's hard to say. I have gotten a couple 5s and 6s; but I have gotten a lot more 0s to bring down the average. Overall, I still feel that there are still more gems yielded from the obstacles on average.
I'm SC said they give more gems, I'm sure they do.... This just sits in some configuration file somewhere on their system, something like
0 - 40%
1 - 20%
2 - 15%
3 - 10%
4 - 5%
5 - 5%
6 - 5%
It's simple math to add that up (in this case, the average is 1.55 gems / obstacle) and compare it to what it was before.
Or maybe it's configured differently for each obstacle, and each obstacle has a percentage spawn rate, but it's all still basic math. If they said the average is going up, it went up. Billion dollar companies wouldn't risk blatantly lying about something that would be so easy to disprove.
