How Long Did It Take You?

How long did it take you to find and join the forums from when you started clashing. For me I started clashing Feb of 2013 and just joined forums in Dec of 2013. I wish I would have found the forums sooner. I'll make a list of people who respond.

The purpose of this thread? A fun stat to record and to see the extremes of it (Slow-Poke and Speed Racer). But also because I personally wish that Supercell would make the forums better known to new players. Someone taking 17 months to find the forums should never happen. I there is a button in the game but it is well hidden. There should be a pop-up at the beginning that says something like
"Want help and advise? Go to the Supercell Forums!" I love the forums and wish I would have found them a lot sooner.

I just joined a week ago and have been playing seriously for 10 months. I always thought I was a CoC addict but so many people here make me look like a tween fanboy! I'm learning a lot!

I started playing in January 2014 and joins the forums less than a week later. Information and knowledge is the gift that has been given to my generation. The one who knows the most has the best odds of success, even if it's just a game on a cell phone! Haha

I started the game really far back, when if someone destroyed your army camp, all the troops you had trained in it died with it. If it helps, I joined a few weeks before the Halloween 2012 update, where they removed that. I remember that army camp thing so vividly because when I was still a noob, I remember MediaPluck (anyone remember him/ her?) picked off my two army camps with archers and left, just to be a bully. His/ her clan name was suiting, "The Bullies". Back on topic, I think I joined around September 2012, and I found the forums around December 2012, but I didn't make an account until March 2013, because I was content with being a guest, until I got fed up with not being able to see attachments:p. I rarely posted on the forums though at all. I played happily for a while, until May-ish, where I became really busy with real life and kind of lost interest in Clash of Clans, and only joined back in October. I got sort of interested again, but didn't really become a dedicated clasher until November, where for some reason the clasher inside me was reborn again, and I became active on the forums and I learned about farming and became a pretty good farmer. Until now, I'm still trying to make up for lost time, and I'm an almost maxed TH 8. I don't think I'll lose the flame in me for a long time, and have no plans on being inactive for as long as I was. So yeah, that's my clasher story, sorry for the long post, thanks for reading! And if you don't believe me, I have two 2012 Christmas trees to prove it! (The ones with bulbs that actually looked good, not like the 2013 Deathmas trees;))

1 st day i started playing, i did tutorial, then stopped and serched for a forum to reserch info, for a while maybe 2 or so hours, working stuff out, after all forums is the place to find info on games when u start em up ..

I started Clashing when we launched the beta on June 13th 2012. I found the forums when we launched them in September 2012. BTW, I really need to check the correct birthday of these forums :)
