Town Hall 8 Farming Base: Aerodynamic
Intro:
Hi, I go by the name MrBendyStraw. You can find me in the amazing clan, Cavebears. Welcome to my first base showcase featuring Aerodynamic.
One day I was watching some clash videos on TH8 farming bases and i though "why not make my own"? I started messing around with the new village edit mode feature and in a couple of hours I created Aerodynamic. It's a new base and has not been tested yet but you guys can feel free to use it and test it and post your results!
Features:
1. Centered and Undetectable Clan Castle
- Undetectable CC unless broken through first layer of walls
- CC troops hide behind second layer of walls, a great distraction and defensive unit
2. Core with 2 Storages
- 2 most favorable storages go in the center (2 gold, 2 elixer, 1 gold 1 elixer, 1 gold, 1 DE, 1 elixer one DE)
3. Triangular splash defenses and Air Defense (triangular AD only in V.2)
- Most ideal configuration of splash defenses and air defense
- Covers the whole base
4. Symmetry
- Storages are all equally guarded and protected by defense
5. Aerodynamic mechanics
(V.1)
- Funneling in the bottom causes meat shields to be "stuck in the butt"
- Double layered wall at bottom to cause attackers to use more wallbreakers than usual
- Funneling at top causes meat shields to move around the base like wind around a car (where i got the name from) and archers are easily brought down by wizard tower
(V.2)
- All storages are covered at least 2 mortars and one wizard tower
- Funneling in bottom right/left causes meant shields to attack walls after destroying cannons
- Funneling at bottom causes troops to be easily damaged by mortar and 2 cannons
