The cancelation fee is stupid and has no point to it. Who all agrees? I cant think of a logical reason for it they may as well put a cancelation fee on ending battles or canceling troops.

They do it so people don't "hide" elixir in their factories. But I agree that it gets irritating when you mistap a spell; perhaps a full refund if you do it within 10 seconds of spell creation?
I also agree I think it's pointless I miss click all of the time and then want to cancel it for another spell, but no way am I going to sell it for half so I get screwed over.
I agree that the cancellation fee for creating spells is outdated.
TMK this was implemented when spells cost gold, it was implemented to prevent people from hiding gold for profit. Now that spells are created with elixir, which is in abundance, I see little reason for it's continued existence given troops can be refunded for elixir also. I hear a few people saying they use this feature to dump elixir and make their base less attractive to raid.
