For trophies defense, you protect your town hall the most. Farming prioritizes resources and hybrid is for both
A farming base protects resources above all else. It doesn't necessarily mean town hall outside. I have mine inside so I float up overnight and it also prevents constant attacks in between raids when i'm offline. The only time I put mine outside is if I find a sweet spot and don't want to be pushed too far out of it overnight.
Defence bases like the top 200 where things like storages are outside because they have high HP meaning they take a long time to destroy while the defence attacks them. They value trophies over anything else. They also try to prevent 50% damage so you often find things like barracks, spell factory and stuff with low hp inside where it's more protected.
Town Halls are exposed so people get free shields, free shields means less attackers, less attackers means less loot taken.Quote:
