It's fine. High effectiveness comes with high cost. I certainly don't want people to balloon my base all the time (waste more than 100k gold to fix the traps every god damn time).
What's next? Golem should take only 30 minutes to train?
I am fine with the Balloon itself taking 8 minutes, Wizards too.
However, when you compare to a Hog taking just 2 minutes...it suddenly feels like a rip off.
All 3 troops are quite similar in their destructive abilities in either a pushing or farming army. So why does one train 4 times faster?
Technically hogs only take half as long because theres only 2 barracks. So not 4 times faster, but the point is fair to raise 1 or lower the other. So hogs are going to 4 minutes in the next update. I'd bet on it!!
Agree, that is indeed my point. The Balloon & Wizard time is fair. The reason Hogs are out of control is they are so fast to build.
If Hogs trained equally as fast as Loons & Wizards, those would be seen more equally by clashers.
It's all about value for money AND time. Clearly Hog is the best value for time in the game right now. Yet SuperCell keep trying to nerf them and miss again and again, what I find is the most obvious reason for their dominance.
Fair point there. 4 minutes sounds on the money in that case.Quote:

They are one of the best troop to push with. An army takes about 45 min to make compared to a gowiwi with 3 golems... that is 1.5 hours. So half the time is good enough for me.
But their Overpoweredness more than make up for it. . .
Well I see your point. However, I believe that ballon's training times are very reasonably. The problem is that the clash community hasn't found the best way to utilize them. I would suggest that, instead of Supercell putting time into lowering their training time we, the clashing community, should put time into discovering new balloon strategies. I my self have discovered that at very low level balloons can cripple bases and at high levels the balloon minion strategy is completely dominant. It is up to us to come up with a strategy for the middle level.

Keep Clashn' Guys...:D
Train times are pretty much irrelevant. There is not an army you can make (well maybe all valks) that takes longer than spells and heroes.
So at high cups you will just be waiting longer for spells and heroes and at low cups it would be overpowered since they can 3 star a weak base with ease.
