Has anyone else heard the rumour that they were disabled because of being able to remove obstacles in edit mode?

So the story goes...
Some people got gembox.
Went to edit mode and tried out removing obstacles.
Went out of edit mode and gembox still there!
Did it again and again and again... mucho gems!!!

I'm not saying this DEFINITELY happened, I'm saying this is maybe why they stopped them appearing AND made them worth no gems.
(Why make them worth no gems if people could remove them only once)

Apologies if there is a post about this, there are too many gembox threads

But you will still see them on bases from people who never cleared theirs. 2 people in my clan have them as they didn't clear them after the update and before they stopped with them.

Supercell came up with the so called issue to try to keep face……..what they don’t know is they lost their face long time ago :)

That proves one thing they work just fine ….but were disabled
