...you dont know what BAM stands for.
Are you kidding the guy asks you a question and you have to judge his OPINION. Everyone has one even you and some people may disagree with yours but why must you criticize his opinion.
You don't use triple lightning on DE storages.
Someone looking to farm your base isn't going to waste much time on the TH. If they are looking for loot and they think they can get it from you, they will attempt to do so.
The vast majority of the people doing these attacks against vulnerable THs are ones looking to use a couple of troops to take out the TH giving them easy trophies and you an easy shield.
Why make it harder then it has to be? All you're doing is taking the chance that you'll aggravate them causing a potentially successful all out assault or make them actually stop their attack. This either turns what would've been a free shield into a potential loot loss situation or leaves your village vulnerable to someone who will simply flatten it.
I will sometimes snipe a th for the 23k gold and elixer but always check two things first.
1/ Do they have enough loot that it is worth taking out the base
2/ Do they have mutimode infernos
If the anwser is yes and no then I drop my queen if she takes any damage from traps I 3 star the base, if she takes no damage I take the th and leave.
Depending on the range and how strong your base is. The key point here is that exposed townhall attract weak players who're pushing.
If you're at silver > gold II, sure no one cares about trophies and very likely they will raid the base if their armies are strong enough.
If you're at gold I (where there're lots of low townhall sniping up to crystal), people won't care so much about your loot anymore, they'll aim for the trophy instead. Of course there're quite a few th9 and 10 farming in this range, but there're also lots of th8 and lower sniping townhall for trophy.
In higher trophy range (around crystal), in order to guarantee a 1* victory, weak players go for the townhall instead of 50% strong base. So most of the time, they'll try to win the townhall at all costs. There's a higher risk in going all out and lose than spending a couple more troops to get a 1*. Even if you have nothing to protect your base, many times people just go all out anyway to get the 2* victory.
Higher up at master and above, this is useless, as the majority of people up there are strong.
I sometimes put my teslas outside when I'm bored, and 99% of the time, nobody even touches the rest of my base. The remaining 1%, they failed.
Also, if you have nothing in your storage, then why the hell not putting a couple of teslas near the hall to watch enemies squeal in misery, lol.
