Game is Boring Getting Now

Sorry for messed up title.

I'm lvl 114 with a TH 10, with pretty much most things maxed or 1-2 levels below maxed. The grind to upgrade each building now is sooooo long and involves 1000's of hitting the next button in the search for gold.

Simple fact..... we need more gold in the game.

Im done with all my elixer upgrades minus a few things to research. So I have excess elixer all the time. As for gold I still need billions to upgrade my camp.

This last update was cool and all but the game is getting stale after a year.

Is this normal of all games?

I don't want to stop playing but something needs to be done to make the game more interesting and feasible to loot gold.

Any encouragement or words of advice are appreciated.

Ive spent about $50 on the game over the last year, so Supercell has taken me.

I would advise that you quit the game.

Don't hide behind low tropies, 2600-3000 not bad for farming

I would say quit if you were a lower lvl but if you're getting bored then you should try and join an elite clan. One that is well known. Or try and start a clan on your own. The only reason why I'm still playing this game is because of the people I met. If you need a clan you can join mine. We're lvl 100+ stop by and give me a visit sometime too! Info in sig

Didn't even realize you messed up the title till you said something lol!

50$ is not alot if you enjoyed if for a year take a break for a while. leave your pumps and mines on one side of the base and your defences on the other and let those of us who still enjoy the game get some easy raids.;)

If your nearlly maxed

go high cups, lots of gold up there.

Go higher in cups, join better clans try that?

Edit: If i were u I would either
1. Push
2. Use a base design that is designed to get you trophies. Like having ur th in the middle and putting like 2-3 elixer storages next to eachother out side your base so people get ur elixer and then leave. With the trophies u win you can get a lot of gold and still lose without dropping too low in trophies.

Good suggestions guys, much appreciated.

Im farming crystal 2 and good raids seems to be getting tougher and tougher to find.

Maybe I'll push up a bit higher.

$50 isn't too much. Clash of clans is pretty cheap entertainment IMO.

How many games do you play that you played year ago or five years maybe ten years? Think one year in one game is very good. Most games do not last even a month before players lose interest and find something new.

i feel the constant grind insanley boring now too
the only thing that keeps me playing the game is my clan!
i spend my days talking and lazily farming
if your going to quit don't cry be happy :) im sure u had fun during your time clashing

That's why they need something like clans wars because many long time players feel the same as you do.

I'm having fun still :)

OP: Try to do something you usually don't to liven up your gameplay.

I'm currently a th 9 & still have a lot to upgrade. I sometimes get bored of the game but then the urge to play non-stop comes back. I also agree that being ina clan with great members is key to having a lot of fun in the game. I wish that the last update included Clan Wars but I guess we will have to wait & see what Supercell has up their sleeves. Hopefully it's added soon though.

Yeah if the game is getting boring, like a lot of the other members said try joining a elite clan. The good clans is what keeps me going in the game. The long wait times for upgrades and the gold it cost now to have max building does suck but its part of the game you will just have to accept. Try trophy pushing, in the master league average loot for th 10 for me is 250k+ gold and exlier and 2-6k de
