Hello,
I'am one of those players who buys gems often, just to make it more playable instead of waiting for 10 days I use gems after 5 or 6 days.
I play several "Clash-of-Clans-look-a-like" game, but they al have several offers over time, for instance 500 gems for € 2,99 instead of € 4,49.
Or am I the only one why noticed? I would like to know if other is perceived as such.

I know Supercell is a business, but every business wants to make money?! Right, why not throw some offers in the game often? They won't lose money, instead they will make more money... In my opinion they will XD

Well, the making more money depends on how much more gems they would sold as result of the campaign. If they would sell the same amount as previously then they would lose money or if sales would not increase enough.
Also thing to remeber is that CoC is in the top of the profitability chart from AppStore. Makes sense that competition is trying get more customers and business. At the moment CoCseems to be doing quite fine. If there will be harder competition or they lose customer I am sure we will see campaigns also.
I have sent a message to one of the employees in Supercell about this but I haven´t received an answer yet. This is something that has been on my mind for a long time. Supercell bring discounts to Hay Day, but not to Clash of Clans. I think Supercell would earn more money if they did some discounts/sales on gems in Clash of Clans as well.
If they gave it a try, I think they will notice that a lot more people will take advantage of that and buy gems.
If SC would make more money with Discounts than without, they would have done it already.
They are a company.
They think like a company.
They are here to make money.
They are the best to know if a discounts is a good idea or no.
I agree that this would be a good idea. And I'm pretty sure it's possible and that Supercell knows how to do it as I have seen, and bought, currency in Hay Day at a reduced price. I haven't ever seen a reason why they don't put discounts on Clash of Clans though.
Thats right, if "they" think in a company way? Why not try it?
They can't lose money on it, there are people who buy gems and people there aren't.

Why not give it a try, only for a week, several offers, believe me, they will make money!
But it's not for the money, it's for the players of CoC, to attract a different audience, that are not willing to pay for it.
An additional worker is always handy, it is possible to achieve al the workers, if you don't spend gems from the beginning.
The first worker costs 500 gems, 2nd 1000 gems and the final worker 2000 gems! Think about it, you must pay at least € 17,99 to achieve only 2 extra workers?
My message to SuperCell is, give it a try, only a week?
