You're advising someone who's dried on Elixir to use 3 spells, 12 giants and 8 wallbreakers per battle?

No idea why you are low on elixir as a TH8. Your army doesn't sound expensive. Do you farm collectors only ? do you farm gold and elixir seperately ?

Another cheap farming army for TH8 (I use it myself) would be the BAG strategy. It works well for farming in Gold 2 and 3 for me.

One barrack of barbarians, two barracks of archers and one barrack of goblins.
Also have some wallbreakers ready for rare occasions (they are costly). And the Barbarian King whenever he is not sleeping.

I usually swim in elixir as a TH8, when I max out (6 million) I do some mass dragon attacks for fun or go on a trophy hunt for some days.
