always low on elixir?

hi fellow clashers,i just noticed that i'm always low on elixir for troop upgrades,barracks...but never on gold.
is elixir more rare than gold?
i have my collectors fairly upgraded to lvl 10.
how do you get a lot of elixir?

By using cheaper armies or use DE troops

You should try a different army composition. Try barb archer and a couple of wall breakers instead of giant healers.

Are you a low townhall level? If you are, then it's normal that you're low on elixir, as there're lots of cheap things to upgrade with elixir at Th7 and lower.

I'm pretty certain this is linked to your troop and spell usage. I'm always overflowing on elixir, except now that I'm doing balloonion raids with 1-4 spells around m3, albeit I still make elixir - just at a slower rate.

Getting elixir is not rocket science, use a cheap and fast army and go for easy storage raids and collector raids. You might want to drop some cups if you're struggling with elixir. In general, gold is much more sought after.

Use BARCH in gold league you will swim in elixir lol

Then you shouldn't be dried on elixir.

AsTuvya said, you can try either BARCH or BAM, both are low on elixir (use barch if you're low on DE too) so that you can gain profit every battle.

ok i will try that.
currently the only way i can get 2 millions+ elixir is by pushing to gold 3 and farming all the way back to silver 2.
i use minions and goblins for farming:D

Well im not sure what th level you are at or your troop capacity but I use 50 barbs, 50 archers, 40 goblins, 5 wall breakers making my cost 20k without spells... meaning I usually make a 80k+ profit on my elixer... best advise is get to know army cost and never attack for less than what you are using... and pick collector raids over core raids as you will use less troops to get the loot

Sounds like you need a cheap farming army. This is mine:

12 Giants
8 Wall breakers
20 Goblins
20 Barbarians
88 Archers (I think)

Use 1x Heal, 2x Rage.

I get my clan caste full of 25 barbarians and back that up with a Barb King (Ideally at level 5)
