Hey OP, I recommend playing the game with only a little bit of gemming from TH 5-7, like, only gemming some long upgrade times, gemming lab, but never gem resources, because it'll save you lots of gems by farming the resources. Then at TH8, since you can afford to gem a lot, again, just gem all the long upgrade times like Teslas, but remember to farm those resources! If you gem those resources... you will be literally draining all your real life money... :o

I'm relatively new to coc, but have built up to level 7 TH and I can't get enough. I just spent $$ on gems and I'm wondering what the best/most efficient way to use the gems are. Is it best to refill storages (in full, 10%?) or to boost my productions of gold/elixer mines?
