Yes, the amount able to gain would increase exponentially at each TH level. And yes you could choose to either collect it or let it multiply with each successful defend.

So when you say "the amount multiplies after each successful defense" do you mean that, say you have 1000 stored at the moment and you win a raid you will get another 1000 or, the 1000 will increase x2? So 1000>2000>3000>4000 etc vs 1000>2000>4000>8000 etc?
Also, when you say "successful defense" do you mean a defense where this base is not destroyed, or a defense where you do not get one starred?
Also, just something you may want to address, but if your storage building is something other than a town hall, and if "successful defense" means that the storage building is not destroyed, then what is to stop higher town halls from dropping trophies and putting their town hall outside of their wall to get the loot bonus?

A "successful defense" at this point i think would be not letting your town hall get destroyed. If it is destroyed then your multiplier starts over and you lose half of your defensive loot. You have to collect it before the multiplier starts over.

Good point, however, if they want a higher loot bonus (from defensive loot) then they would want to stay around their trophy range, Because attacking a TH below their own (10 vs 8 or 9) would not give them access to other players defensive loot. As you can see from above half of 236,000 would be an extra 115,000 in gold and elixir and at 5 multipliers they would receive an extra 236000 if they destroyed another player at TH 10!

Players would want to think twice about becoming premmies as any player at their TH level could steal half their defensive loot. Imagine a TH 7 player destroying a TH10 premmie and receiving 115,000 in gold and elixir @ 4 multipliers and at 5 multipliers they would receive 236000 in ADDition to normal base loot!?
Thanks for the questions, they were really good! I think Supercell should at least consider Something like this in regards to defensive loot as this seems to me to be a possible solid update!
