Definition of farming.

Yeah. So many different styles of play.

I had 2700 trophies and Townhall outside as a TH9. Asked in global if I was really farming there. Tried to point out that it wasn't the only reason the have external Townhall. (and I was desperately outclassed in Master as a TH9!)

Had argument in global, that real farming was just living on your shield, and taking gold from collectors and never raiding at all.

Somtimes when I farm (and am losing trophies) I will put the Townhall inside to more easily get those trophies back, and because I feel like it. I win more raiding than I could ever possibly lose in Gold II. According to the wisdom of global though. That's not farming!

The only thing I have realized is that global are idiots. You might as well ask your dog.

Farming is a very general term. All my life, I heard farming was when you prioritize resources. A lot of people say that you don't care about resources when farming, but that isn't necessarily true. You may want to farm in a high trophy range, which means you do, at some level, care about trophies. There is no real definition to farming, because everyone has there own... I guess you can say "twist" on it. But that's the general idea.

Framing for me is maxing all my storage before I go to sleep.

Thank you for changing your sig lol! Imo farming is just gathering resources to progress your base irrespective of trophies. Trophies don't matter much to you, except if you drop out of your farming range.

For me, after a long day of work I come home, sit down on the couch, and think to myself "i can't wait to steal me some gold!"

To me that is what farming means, i just love to steal others peoples loot. It's the part of this game that makes me happy.

Others may think "I cant wait to go crush some peoples bases and take thier trophies"

To me it's as simple as this, if your like me and just love to figure out the most efficient ways to get at the loot then your a farmer, if you would rather take down a well defended TH than a gold storage you're probably a pusher.
