Haven't had a response about in in over a month. Game is really becoming to be a drag, next, next, next, next.
You know whats more boring, these threads.
There is NO problems with the loot. It is your trophy range, stop complaining!
Hi OP. I feel where you're coming from, many people do. But making a new thread is not the way to go. This thread will end in flames and tears. Hopefully a mod closes it soon.
I'm not pandering when I say you need to learn to live with it. This game hasn't been the same since quite a long time, or perhaps it has. I can say for sure there has been a shift in what I expect it to be, though the actual changes are beyond doubt as well. Together they create a dulling feeling that you're just wasting time and only keep playing because it's become ingrained into your daily routine.
You see, SC has proven very willing to listen to users on a variety of content. But as far as loot goes, the silence is deafening. They have their reasons, they choose not to go too much in-depth about them. That is all. No judgement.
You have to choose for yourself if the reduced fun-factor has reached a point where you don't actually want to stop playing, but will stop playing. Expecting to change anything by making a thread about this topic will not help you personally. Either quit or accept and adapt.
I'm not trying to be smug here, I just personally feel that this is the best approach to the current problems with this game.
I look fancy eh?

Ok, @OP
I always thought that if
the GOLD SPENT ON SEARCHING would be returned if the battle WON. Meaning once you reach 50%, the gold spent on searching would be returned, if you didn't raid at all, or lost the raid, the gold spent on searching would be lost. That would encourage winning attacks.
I don't know, just one or my many thoughts about this next button. *grr*
IF SC could make money improving the loot situation, there would be no loot situation. It has to become bad enough that people stop playing the game and stop buying gems before SC will do anything about it. As long as people just complain about it but keep playing the game and keep on buying gems, nothing is going to change. It may get worse, in fact. Enjoy how bad it is now.
You are just wrong. All of you people complaining about the complainers just need to stop. I'm sick and tired of you mindless sheep that go along with whatever supercell does. The game isn't fun anymore for many people and this is the place to say something about it.
You tell us to just adapt to the way the game is so why don't you just take your own advice and just deal with the fact that the loot sucks and many of us aren't happy about it so we will complain until we get some sort of answer either way. If you don't like it, just ignore the threads. And please, don't tell me we are cluttering up the forum. There are so few new threads worth reading anyway.
I know all of you who say the loot is fine really aren't trying to farm efficiently. I guarantee you are all building a 30-45 minute build, logging off for an hour and then finding a 300k base to raid. That's great if that's the way you want to play but you will never be able to max walls at th9 with that strategy. I've gone from 2200 -1200 and the loot sucks everywhere more often than not.
And the fact is we aren't asking for anything new. We just want our game back. The game was so much fun before December and now it's just tedious.
Many in my clan are finding that the loot is getting better. We're TH7–9, mostly silver II to gold II. I just reviewed all of the replays in our chat feed, and I'm seeing a lot of collector-plus-storage raids with giant–wallbreaker–tier 1 armies. My husband got a 500K/250K raid yesterday! Nexting doesn't seem as bad, either, but maybe I just don't notice how long it takes if the outcome is good.
I'm not trying to dismiss your frustrations, because I know the loot can be patchy, but I do think that something has changed for the better and that SC has been working on it.
oh man the problem is you. I'm a th8 farmer and I just find more and more loot...
just stay calm and don't complain :D
isn't the loot calculated from a percentage of what is in your storage and collectors?
not quite sure but if i get raid 6 times, i lose like 500k of each dealing some important loss to me... and im pretty sure im not the only one. Nobody can't complain about gamer that know how it works, keep nexting because lot of ppl are just running low on stack cause they know they'll get raid. So do i when i can.
i don't want anymore adjustment, cause if they do, i expect that more money will be available at each attack meaning i can lose everything just because i have a nice defense keeping my ratio destruction under 50% and losing half available loot... but getting raid several times.
let's say it's around 20% of what you own (seems like it to me) if they go further and listen to all the complainers, what will happen is that they will rage because they lose all their money when they get raid and will still ask for other adjustment...
in my tought
They are not ignoring it! Give them a break please, they have to nominate and award Miss/Mister Fanboy 2014 first.
And many of us are stating that we indeed are not having these issues that many of you seem to keep bringing back. It goes both ways. By saying the game should go back to the way it was (just because loot was easier for you) is like saying you don't want the game to evolve. Things change and you need the ability to adapt. I suggest either trying to adapt gracefully or stop flooding the forums with repetitive moaning and find another game to play.
They aren't ignoring the loot "issue." It's working as intended, basically requiring us to use boosts to get the same amount of loot before the update. Either get used to less loot, boost, or quit. The choices are obvious and easy. No need to complain anymore about it.
I'm sorry to be double posting but this needs an answer. My friend, I attack each 20 minutes when I'm online and I always find 150k plus (gold obviously). You only need to be a little bit more patient then before, complaining does not help. If you think you can't max out the walls why do you still do it? This game is to have fun, do you have fun complaining because you can't achieve the unachievable? Do you have fun doing attack after attack and only getting enough to do one wall? My average loot per hour is, like I said, 150k gold/hour which is, in my opinion, pretty good. I would take an hour and a half to get one wall up to level9. How the hell can that be fun? If you think its fun, awesome, congrats man, but don't say you can't find good loot when you're doing something boring on a game which is supposed to be fun...
Instead of matching up attacks on trophies, SC should set a point value to your town, everything in it is worth one point, each level above 1, is worth a point...so a section of wall at level 9 is worth 9 points, a mortar at level 5 is 5 points, add all them up...let's say tour town is worth (with walls) 1200 points, you should be matched up with towns of same caliber...not bronze 3 trophy count with lvl 9 TH and xbows and a level 5 archer queen.
Ok. I am going to be nice here. Your signature says "antfarmer." You play the game differently than most of us farmers. But what you can't understand is that all of those big raids you get with your 2 hour army has to come from somewhere. The amount of gold produced is not even close to enough to sustain an active player. Therefore, at some point most of that gold has to come from someone raiding an inactive.
I'm glad that you are still finding enjoyment with the game. But many of us aren't any more. And you are totally confused when you say we don't want the game to evolve. The amount of gold in the game has zero to do with the game evolving and new features. I love the new hero abilities. It's great fun. But my heroes aren't available all the time as I am trying to farm the ridiculous amount that it takes to max walls at th9.
People complain because they care. If we didn't care we'd just quit. So maybe you need to adapt to the fact that the forum is going to be flooded with complaints until SuperCell gives us some sort of definitive answer on what they are going to do.
A lot of jokers are saying the loot is good......................
I guess they don't know whats the definition of good loot.
My army build time is between 20-30 minutes as I use various mixes each battle. On an average day I'll battle 10-15 times (wins/losses depend of course) and on an above average day when I play a lot it can be 25-30 battles. So, I'm much more active than most people who play this game and still not a farmer in the sense of constantly using bam, barch, mass hogs etc (because to me, that's what farming is). Yes, being an active player does not mean just being a farmer. Why would you even think that? I have just short of 100 L9 walls done already so yes, I too will eventually get my L9 walls done. The difference is obviously how we play the game, I grant that. I am just saying that it is pointless to play if you are not having fun... especially when you expect the game to digress instead of moving forward.
I have no doubt that you and many others care about the game, hence all the outrage. I only doubt the way you go about complaining about it and expecting SC to cater to your every whim just because loot is not as available (in your opinion) as it used to be.
I'm still averaging around 500k-1mil gold per hour of gameplay so that is more than okay with me. I stay between 1600-1800 and rarely, if ever next more than 20 times.
Gold is being depleted excessively than it is being produced, do you know what this means? Probably in 6months to 1 years time the loot will become worse. It will be the "thrilling 50k"
Loot is dog ♥♥♥♥ the end is near
Last weeks update was designed to increase loot.
give it a couple of weeks.
when gem box is fixed things will improve further.
I think SC is hoping to quietly inject more loot into the game (via inactives) without having to publicly state that they made a mistake. That's fine with me, as long as the game is fun, and this weekend was a lot more enjoyable than any time since the 1-gem boost. You may need to shift to a heavier army, though.
Ok, this is my final post on this subject. Because some of us are just going to have to agree to disagree. But my complaint is not with the loot system. The system is fine. My issue is 100% with the nexting (which is NOT related to the new system). And again, my issue is that the mods have stated they are looking into for the past month and nothing has been said about it.
Is it really too much to ask that we get some sort of an answer on an issue that SuperCell has said they are looking into for a month? If they aren't going to do anything about the next button then please just let us know so we can just quit. They are just leaving us all in limbo here and that's not right.
Yeah but I don't know if you are aware that languages are used to communicate. If you are using your own language no one will understand what you are saying. 99% of the people that look at your signature think you are a crazy trophy pusher that somehow got 100 lv9 walls or that you are just being ironic…
And another thing why are you anti-gemmer? The money is not yours people can spend their money like they want too… Don't judge people with your standards, because everybody is different...
We seem to be coming from totally different trends. Never has 1 million per hour been a steady pace for me. I have reached it couple of times ever. My normal rate has been 700K gold per hour regardles of old system or new system or th7-9.
I normally click next max 20 times and that has not changed. I tend to pick the first base where I can take 150K gold and enough elixir to cover my farming army cost. Naturally the situation gets different if I use balloonians that take twice as long to train
Well, I'm sorry you read my signature that way. READ IT AGAIN. It says NON-GEMMER. Big difference. I personally don't use them unless we have a one gem boost. Also, don't jump to the conclusion that I am judging others for gemming. I've already stated many times on the forums that I am very happy people gem and if it makes them happy that is great. People gemming keeps the game free for me.
As for language, as I'm engaged to a linguist and philologist and speak a few languages myself, I'm aware of what you state. But, I'm not using my 'own' language any more than you are. You can ask a few dozen people what farming means (which I have) only to get 5-6 different responses.
You know, I've been noticing that too. The loot used to be at its most dismal on the weekends, but for a while it's been quite the opposite. It's possible that, with so many active players online and raiding the weekends churn up inactives that would otherwise be on the bottom of the queue. One of my clan mates had a 600k gold raid on Saturday and I did ok barching. Today, otoh, is just godawful.
Also I'm still getting attacked no matter how low I keep my gold. I finally gave up and put my TH outside. I don't like whoring my village out for a cheap shield, but I really want level six archers.

2/3/14
My travels came to a sudden halt a few months ago when a fierce storm churned the seas around our batterered ship in early December. This storm was of biblical proportions, our ship was no match, and we were shipwrecked on an unknown island. The captain and top crewman died in the seas when we crashed, and around half of my fellow sailors were slaughtered in the storm we now refer to as "God's cleansing". With only a few of us sailers left, the first days on this desert island have been anything but plentiful. We should have never left our harbors...
The first days were a blur of panic, distress, confusion, and desperate tear filled prayers to God, begging for a miracle. Among the confusion, a few of us decided to explore the island and take note of what we had to work with. After a week or two, the reality of the sitatuion was setting in, and depression was evident in everyone's sunken eyes. We drank out of sickly brown pools of water we found inland, and ate anything to suppress the agonizing internal growls. Physically, we could survive, we had the ingenuity and skills necessary for long term survival. Mentally, some of us weren't so lucky, some of the sailors would scream and curse god at night and it would die down into a low sob before silence, we'd often wake to some bodies in the water, they drowned themselves to escape the eternal suffering. Understandably, our moral was low.
The survival of the fittest determined who sits beside me now, we are the survivors-no-masters, of this island. We learned the ways of the tides, the secrets of the local growth, the arts of tool making, the methods of hunting. We have adapted and thrived. Some still struggle on this island, cursing God everyday for this punishment, but questioning God's motives are futile, pondering the ever prosperous old lands from months ago is pointless. These circumstances have been presented to us and this is what we must accept! The old lands are gone! This is our home and we must make it count!
In other words stop your whining ya sissy! :P
You seriously need to stop complaining I'm in the silver 1 to gold 3 range the loot is around 1-2 million GOLD and over 2 mil elixir and hour you all need to stop complaining and start working.
I think this game is designed so that low-level players experience "better loots" (massive amount from unprotected collectors).
As you level up, you should expect easy loots to be harder and harder to come by.
This is why most people think "loot sucks" because it does always suck for them each individually when they were at an lower level.
If people haven't got gold because they are upgrading that can't be helped. The reason you keep hitting next next next is because your looking for a redundant or full collector base which ain't gonna happen. Find a trophy range where most bases have loads to raid
Just raided 1.3mill gold in an hour and 15 mins in gold 2????? ♥♥♥♥ loot??? Nope!!!
I'm so sick of these threads! Everyone expects 400k raids or something. How about using your troops wisely. If it's an easy 60k gold grab then use 20 troops, if it's a a full blown attack then use them all!!.
THIS GAME IS NOT MENT TO EASY!!'
Play the game!
Oh boy, thanks! Never would have thought of that! Btw, does your comment come with a money back guarantee? I have tried multiple ranges between 2000 to 2500 while my clan mates search in other ranges. Or maybe our next button has collectively stopped functioning.
Very well said. I have resisted the urge to log back on since this last update didn't seem to help the "cause". I am now just another ABANDONED BASE. Have at it my friends, at least someone will get lucky for the short time it still survives in the matchmaking.
Humorous how you've edited your signature from 'anti' to 'non' and act as if that's how it's been all along.
You are one of three types of (active) players, and Im sorry, but if you are collecting loot with the intent of upgrading your base, you are farming resources. Regardless of how varied your army compositions are. Though some aren't as efficient as others.
If you were cup chasing, you would not be maintaining your 1600-1800 range, as this is a tactic of one who has found a reasonable loot range, aka, a farmer.
The third possibility, in my eyes, are those who maintain a lower cup range in order to roll much weaker bases, loot being implied as residual, simply a benefit of having fun.
On topic: For those expecting SC to comment on their intent with the loot issue as it is now, consider that they have to be limited and vague, or silent all together with what they say, as everything they say may/will be held as truth with the expectation of being upheld. One misspoken word can be misinterpreted as it isn't, causing unintended backlash.
Loot, with the influx of new players after the android update, is inevitably going to be spread thinner. As these players advance their bases, they will be in need of more loot, and spending it that much faster if they have rushed their TH's. With the increase of the loot available per raid, more advanced bases are dropping in cup range searching for easier loot, again allowing these bases to spend on their final upgrades or dump into their wall sink. Then there is the trickle up theory that may be a touchy subject so I will leave it alone.
While I can't fault SC with wanting to expand their player base, their attempt at adjusting/fixing the loot issue by increasing available loot per raid, has done nothing toward improvement. In my opinion, this has only encouraged players to spend sooner, and to log on more in an effort to lessen the loss from their collectors, hence, less collector raids. Then again, I do see why SC would want to lessen the potential for collector raids, after all, the game was designed with multiple army compositions and using these armies to truly raid an opponents base, as I believe Terraist has stated he does, not just to routinely train BAM and BARCH armies to snipe collectors and that easy storage. And I can't fault SC for this either, as the game was not designed around collector farming, a perk yes, but not the sole purpose. For the simple fact that this is what the game has become, implies that there certainly is an issue with the games intended design, something that needs to be addressed. That is, unless SC is satisfied with how things are.
Nexting is an issue directly tied to loot profit in my opinion. I say this because I've seen many posts in other threads stating the opposite. With every tap of next increasing the profit you are seeking, and at the same time lessening the chances for finding that decent profit, a stagnent game experience emerges. Hopefully SC understands this and adjusts accordingly. I do like the idea of having a portion of gold spent nexting returned to you for a win, or even a loss, at a lessened return rate.
Holy wall of text!
I've edited it because I'm tired of people misinterpreting it and going off on "hate" tangents. I figured this way there is less to misconstrue. As for acting like it's been like that all along, not sure where you get that from as I certainly haven't denied anything? Hmmm. Passive aggressive hate, well done.
When it comes to the word "farmer" and what it means or may mean in the CoC world I've never heard from any source that it means any one thing so I've always stuck with what it means to me. I'd love to see an official definition of it, really. I do like the way you've laid out the three possibilities although I've often seen your 3rd as a main income for farmers.
same here clash of clouds
To be 100% honest I've found more inactive bases and collector raids since the last update than i did in the 5/6 weeks before it, SC did change something because Im a TH10 and I do not believe in coincidences like that, the loot really isnt a problem and only a few times have I become frustrated with hitting Next.
Maybe rather then complaining you need to offer solutions?.
Have you even really thought about how is there less loot?.
SC increased the amount of loot that can be taken from people.. they didnt reduce the amount of gold being generated. So if you're getting less loot that means the old people you used to take it from are keeping it. So there's not less loot in the end?.
Maybe those people are staying online and preventing you from raiding them.. but that means THEY have more loot.
Maybe there is nothing wrong with the loot system and they just cleaned out alot of inactive accounts?. Maybe all the andriod players have reached high TH levels and are sucking up all the available loot?.
Also, I've been around 2100 trophies for those wondering.
This forum has 100's of suggestions. Spend some time and read.
One of the best ones I've seen is reset the Goblin map every month.
Seems simple enough to do and that's a few million worth of loot in there.
I've been playing for a year and there is a DEFINATE loot issue. It changed last fall right after one of the updates.
As a TH10 I spend anywhere from 60-100k to find a 200 village. I'm sorry but that's a problem.
Even my TH09 account has a tough time find great loot.
The problem is actually pretty simple. The amount of gold generated(Mines, league bonus) does not currently match the amount of gold flushed down the toilet(nexting, upgrades).
The solution is simple too. Increase the gold generated to match or barely surpass the gold used.
Not sure why Supercell hasn't fixed it yet, but I'm sure they're being very cautious because if they make the game too easy, it'll shorten the life of the game vastly.
The more I think about it the more I realise the loot issue is actually caused by the overpowered inferno towers....
I know that sound odd but think about it for a second. Many of us used to regularly attack th10's but now due to mutimode inferno towers that is no longer a practical option. So now more players are forced to pick on a smaller pool of players meaning the chance of finding a good target in that pool reduces. Those in the pool get frustrated and upgrade to th10 to get out resulting in an even smaller pool.
Same amount of farmers, reduced potential targets equals worse loot.
Most likely it was the halloween update when they started removing inactives from the queue, turned it more aggressive during christmas/after, and now last few days maybe tuned it down a bit. I am wondering why players did not see any fancy sneak peek poster about that.. the most important change?
All that loot-talk does not matter really, it is possible sc finally broke the addiction for many people, leading to a negative-spiral for the game sometime in future. If that is not enough, they have as big a problem on the trophy-hunting front where there is no stop to the superheroes. What happens can of course be only pure speculation, but we'll see if there are enough new eager players, willing to play an unfair game on comparison to old players, to sustain the game's state.
Simply they started rationing (or totally removing all) inactive bases, leading to this loot drought... of course why it would not lead since active players have always been bad targets. Without inactives there are only active players competing for each other's mine output while paying ever higher (no loot, more nexts) next and army costs. Yep, total nonsense. :)Quote:

But will people keep more gold in total if this happens? I doubt it. So in the end it wont change the available gold when you are looking for a raid.
The only change they made to the loot system that can reduce the amount you can get at raids is the higher town hall bonus. I think people are whining because they can no longer ♥♥♥♥ premature TH's (well atleast TH8's are).
The only other way to get such high resources out of a raid is from inactives.
I use BARCH and i aim to get 150k a raid.. there have been no differences for me since the loot change. I still hit next the same amount.
Why care about loot when you have trophies?!?!?!?!
-SC
Supercell has spoken on this issue. The new system is here to stay. Either adapt or stop playing.
Sure I would love to see a new collector level, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
yea I bet many people have quit I have been getting tones of collector raids just today 235k gold 245 k elixir of a TH 6 ;)
You are a th 8, your point, therefore, is invalid.
Supercell has a lot more to do than attempt to fix the loot system, if the reason they aren't pushing loot into the system is that they are making clan wars, I could care less how many nexts i click for the time being
Well I just had 2-3 good days of loot but its back to the crapper. Yesterday I was loving it. I wish they could dynamically inject the sleepy bases in based on some active monitoring, instead of having random bulk cleanups.
My vote goes towards fixing the consistency of the gold / next issue, its the most boring part of the game. NEXT NEXT NEXT Phone loses connection, reconnect start NEXTING at the top of the queue again NEXT NEXT NEXT
I'm with the whingers !
:)
the repetition of the game is getting boring, and will probably end up bringing about the game's end.
Tend to agree with you here I have yet to see any base get 100% that has 2 disco inferno towers, if it can happen please post proof. I feel it should be possible. One way you could slow down the rush to get town hall 10 now, Is to make the inferno towers weaker to match you town hall level.
10 pages on this thread, and many more on the other threads talking the same thing
Still no response from supercell, so no, i guess they wont stop ignoring the issue
Yep. They continue to bury their heads in the sand about this. If they deny it and continue to ignore it it must not be a real problem, right?
I just spent 200k hitting next to find a base with over 200k in gold and 130k in elixir. My net after the league bonus? 21k gold. Sweet!
so far since the loot update i guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm having no prob at all with the loot (since the loot update) .. u just have to find the right spot/cup range from time to time. maybe u rely on too much nexting to look for an abandoned bases which there are tons but sometimes u need to grind to the storages too.
