I have an idea for the option to put multiple builders on 1 upgrade. When you put another builder on an upgrade it will decrease the time it takes for the upgrade to finish but once you add a builder you can't take it back off of the upgrade you can only cancel the upgrade. When the upgrade finishes there is a cool down time of about 1 hour for the extra builders you put on the upgrade.

Your 'multiple builders' idea is great, but it can be abused. and it's been ruled out by Supercell, probably for one of the following reasons:
1. Players would stack builders instead of buying gems
2. Supercell would lose profits due to decreased gem sales.
