Collectors raids should not have a loot penalty.

So yesterday, while I was pressing "next" countless times, I found a TH7 with full lvl10 mines and collectors giving me just 100k gold and 100k elixir. And I thought, that as a TH8, that raid would've been of 200-250k gold and 200-250k elixir.

I am a TH9, and I am not complaining about loot. I think that loot is... fine... you just have to search more. I do waste like 50k gold searching sometimes, but I don't mind. I am still keeping my loots in black numbers.

My point is, that collectors raids should not be subject to loot penalties. JUST collector raids.

I think, that a TH10 should get the same gold from a TH7 with full maxed collectors as a TH8 does. I think that the storage penalty is fine, but there isn't a point in collector penalties.

This would "boost" loot a little bit, since you are just raiding collectors, not storages. I see plenty of inactive TH7 with full collectors giving me just 100k-, when I see this, I wish I was a TH8 again.

What do you think?

I think this is a good idea, you are not taking advantage of lower THs, because ACTIVE players shouldn't have their collectors full.

Collectors raids should be the same for everyone.

There is one, full maxed collectors don't give just 100k.

Well if you see only 100k/100k then the collectors are not full , I raid th7 daily and they usually give 150k with even not full collectors (I go later and check)

Still, 150k isn't the loot you would get if you were a th8 or another th7.

Why not? It would just affect the inactive players with full collectors, no storages.

A Th9 raiding a th7 for just his storages wouldn't be profitable.

If you keep your collectors empty, you will be fine. No TH9 will attack you for your full storages and empty collectors, unless you zapped his DE :rolleyes:

This solves nothing, as you only steal from lower townhall players who would get more from that base.

No additional resources = nothing change.

Although I agree that there should be no loot penalty, I did the other day take on a th 7 with only loot in his/her level 11 collectors an received 250k of each, what I think was that the collectors in your raid was not full, but appeared full as when a collector is near full say 60% it will show as a full collector. Btw I am th 9

Loot wise, probably yes due to loot penalty. But as we are talking to collector raids here, its the pinnacle of the inactives, SC should impose a lower penalty (or remove it) as no matter how much we loot it doesnt hurt them.

Actually, I think it does. As I said, I've seen multiple lower THs with full collectors showing just 100k loot, if the collector penalty is lifted you would get 200k+.

Of course, this won't be the definite solution to our loot problems, as stated in the OP, it will be a small, and very welcomed, boost to the loot.

And sooner or later someone else with th7-8 will come up and will find 200k+, the loot are still there, still get taken by someone. Now if you get 200k+ and raid that base, someone else will come and he will get less. And then we will have a bunch of Th10 and 9 down in silver and gold 3 searching for collector raid.

Your solution will only help higher townhall while stealing the potential loots from lower townhall. The loot will simply shift to the end of the chain, while dried up in the first half.

I'll say it again, there will be zero boost to the loot whatsoever, as a whole.

The only ones with loot problems are TH9s and TH10s, maybe TH8s(I always had great loot as a TH8).

Is funny to see a TH7 or lower whining about loot when they have the best loot in the whole game. Yes, this will be a temporal solution to only higher townhalls with real loot problems.

Why is it not good if there is a redistribution of gold from th8s to th9s? There will be more competition for collector bases that's a given, but why would it be bad for farmers?

Changing your trophy range and learning how to adapt to situation changes, that's called farming my friend. Not sticking to your comfortable trophy range and expecting great loot.

Yes there'll be no change in additional loot, but it'll depend more on the skill of adapting changes as a farmer no matter what townhall level you are in.

Gold is also in abundance for th8 farmers now. So why not re-distribute this to th9s and 10s and make the climbing curve less steep, but more of a gradual uphill battle? Logic.

I'm supporting this system change.

Speaking as a current th8 that's not true at all... Th9's regularly raided me for over 300k gold when I would save up for a big upgrade... That doesn't seem like my loot is left alone

I am opting not to vote because I personally don't agree with either option. I am a farmer that recently upgraded to th9 late this past December. Full collectors have long been my bread and butter, and I too was originally concerned about the loot that would be available. Truth be told, I honesty have no idea what y'all are talking about. I leave on of my builders open to dump surplus gold in my malls and have at least 50 lvl 9 walls. I realize this is slightly off topic, but I recommend swapping up your trophy range; I am constantly moving up and down. Any how, hope everyone is having a great day, good luck farmers!

Do you know what farming is? This is a game, good sir, a competitive game. An active enough th7 will still manage to get enough loot for big upgrades. Th7s will never experience bad loot as th9s and th10s.

Its about competing for loot.

That has nothing to do with this topic. The topic is about raiding, not about saving. The fact that you can have those delicious th7 collector raid is that Th9 and 10 leave it alone. My post was about the fact that higher townhalls leave your potential loot alone, not about them leaving you alone. Totally different.

You failed to understand the fact that different townhall belongs to different range, or else everything would be all over the place. I don't need you to sit there and teach me how to farm. I, as a Th10, can do fine on my own. How? Because I know how to farm and distribute my builders correctly.

Gold is abundance for th8 farmers right now, ONLY because it's not raided by TH9 and 10, which take a large amount of the population. Once this idiotic idea taken place, things will change, dramatically. The amount of inactive low town hall won't suddenly pump up to cope with the demand.

If this will happen, all loot will move up to TH9s/10s and no more loot will be left for lower THs. Sorry but terrible idea.

I think everyone saying that loot would be bad for lower th levels while it might be true you have to remember the upgrades they have cost considerably less and the th levels dont take as long as a th 8 i spent a month and a half and i was already maxed so it wouldnt take as long as the 4 months+ to max th 9 and 10

TH8 loot is way better than TH7, with lv.5 troops you're able to take down any strong TH7, TH8 and weak TH9
they offer way more than TH6 you can loot with TH7 army.

TH9 is even better, 20 more space, 1 extra spell and Lv.6 troops... you can easily loot weak TH10 and take 300K-400K from the storage.

Sorry, I still don't understand the logic behind different trophy ranges. If your argument was that it was there to protect the lower townhalls, the storage penalty should do fine. Wouldn't it be better if th7-10 can compete for the same collector loots? Th10/9 would never attack a th7 with the storage penalty anyway.

And another pointer to note is that th8s are not rich because of lesser th9 attacks, it's due to the number of collector bases one sees. Are there currently more th7/8 inactive bases as compared to 9/10? I think that's a good point to think about.
Also, th9/10 upgrades are more expensive.

I completely agree. Loot penalty is to protect the lower townhalls' storages, not their mines and pumps.

Nevertheless, there is no loot penalty on cups.

There's already a messed up storage penalty or whatever it is: lower THs can pick on us, they can lightning all our resources and run away, then we can take their collector resources in return... Good idea.

This best sums up my view.

The likely consequence for me is that you would have TH9/10 sat at 1k trophies or lower hitting lower level th's. A TH5 can have 5 lvl 10 collectors, with no loot penalty a TH10 could take up to £250k from them with a handful of troops. This doesn't seem fair.

The idea suggested is useful for a small demonstration.

It would have these effects on the game, as said by many.
[current state] -> [future state]
[TH9s and TH10s leaving TH7s and below mostly alone] -> [TH9s and TH10s attacking TH7s and below as long as they have filled collectors]
[TH7s and below mostly left alone by TH9s and TH10s in ~Gold leagues] -> [TH9s and TH10s sometimes correcting their trophies]

That you could achieve with the change, and probably that outcome is not too beneficial/interesting/etc, even though the second effect is likeable (it would help with matchmaking queue, but only applies to filled collectors...).

What changes I would like to see then?

[Trophies mean nothing] -> [Trophies should play a big part income-wise. Trophies should matter a lot.]
[Defenses are negative-only events] -> [Defenses should have a positive side to them]

You are saying the "next" button should be...ehm.. smart? Giving us targets worthy of our troops composition? Like, using a BARCH army matchmaking will *try to* give you a collector raid? Or with a giant-based army matchmaking will give you a storage raid?

Or you just mean that with each "next" you do, you will have more chances of finding a raid with good loot? I think I am wrong, but I remember I read a post when the loot system was changed saying that this new system awards activity, meaning that if you are more active, SC will give you better raids.

What do you mean by "trophies should matter a lot?". Our trophies deciding what penalty we are going to have? Tell me how is that not going to be exploited! :p

Certainly a better direction. I just have a few comment on this:
- Nexting problem = I agree, a better matchmaking system should be introduced.
- Trophies does mean something at the moment, by the league bonus. Though it's kinda neglectable for lower leagues. So I think an improve to the league system is needed.
- Defense win bonus (league, loser penalty) = absolutely agree.
- There is already a real choice between outside and inside due to the fact that defenses are negative-only events. You can either choose to protect your resources (12 shield), or just let them take your resources while give you some meaningless cup (when you're farming); and in the process weakening your base for other enemies to 100% your base.

I for one am not too fond on the idea. Although I'm an active th7 player, I sometimes have days where I physically can't play. Being smashed all day by th9s would really just annoy me... I say go do normal raids just like everyone else!

Fair point, although there is a way to stop being crushed by TH9-10s, leave your collectors and townhall unprotected. If I were to attack you with full collectors, I would destroy your collectors and snip your TH only. I got the loot, and you got a free shield, like that way you won't get smashed by th9-10s all day, you will only get smashed once! :rolleyes:

Or you could just waste 5min of your time to collect the loot on your collectors. I think collectors should have more than 50k resources to be raidable, I am not sure tho.

Instead of getting rid of the penalty, why not just increase the % amount available from the collectors. This would move more loot into the active community by removing it from people who are inactive and aren't going to use it.
