Introduce "Destroy the Fort" clan challenges
Greetings CC gamers and Supercell's developers,
I would like to propose a great addition to the game that in my opinion will make gaming experience much better. I call it "Destroy the Fort" clan challenges. But before going into details, I will briefly explain why I think it is important to include in Clash of Clans:
Why introduce "Destroy the Fort" missions?
This game is GREAT and you would not be here if you didn't know it already, so I will just cut to the chase. Playing in a clan, I feel that all you do is giving and receiving troop donations. There is a clear lack of team activities, in my opinion. We chat with our fellow clan mates, donate/receive troops and compete within the clan for places. But what else do we do together? Would it be great to play with your clan members together, do something fun, and receive rewards for it if you get what it takes? I am sure that most of you think: "Yes, it would be".
Co-operative missions for clans: "Destroy the Fort"
Rationale:
Create a set of bases (Forts) for each Town Hall level. Each clan will be able to access ONLY the base that matches clan's total points (trophies) -- not lower-level and not higher-level bases. First, each clan may purchase an entry to start "Destroy the Fort" mission that will last only for 24 hours. During these 24 hours, each clan member can attack the same Fort unlimited number of times, as long as they have enough members in the clan or can train enough troops to destroy the Fort's Town Hall. The main objective could be to destroy the Town Hall. Each Fort will be increased in durability of defenses, walls, and buildings. If a clan successfully destroys the Town Hall, it will receive an appropriate reward and the outcome of the battle will be included in the clan's description as "number of Forts destroyed" for other people to see.
What it needs specifically:
1. Create a set of bases (Forts) for each "level" of the clan
- Use clan's total points (trophies) in decide which level Fort the clan will attack; clans may NOT attack lower level forts to avoid farm.
- each Fort will have increased-durability defenses (100x HP, for example) to withstand sequential attacks
2. Open up a Bank
- members of the clan will donate gold and elixir towards purchasing an entry for "Destroy the Fort" clan challenge
3. Purchase an entry
- each clan will collect X amount of gold and Y amount of elixir to purchase an entry for the 24-hour Destroy the Fort mission; the amount of gold and elixir will be calculated based on clan's total points (trophies)
- only clan leader or co-leaders will be able to purchase an entry for Destroy the Fort on behalf of the clan
- the mission will last for 24 hours after the purchase
4. Mission: "Destroy the Fort"
- Fort level (base) will be calculated based on clan's trophies
- the main objective will be to destroy the Town Hall
- mission will be purchased/initiated by a leader or co-leader of the clan
- purchased mission will last for 24 hours
- during these 24 hours, each clan member will attack the fort unlimited number of times
- mission will be accomplished only when Town Hall is destroyed
- if mission was successful, the clan receives a reward (suggested reward: gems)
5. Mission statistics:
- All participants will be listed for the last Destroy the Fort mission in a separate log (same page as for Attack and Defense Logs)
- Players will be listed according to amount of troops they used to attack the Fort
- Number of successfully accomplished missions will be listed in clan's details for other players to see
6. Rewards
- Suggested reward: X amount of gems distributed between participants according to their position in the raid: 1st place takes the most amount of gems, last place takes the least.
7. Mechanics:
- Only one player at a time can attack the Fort (computationally easier to introduce).
- After each attack, the status and current HP of the Fort will be saved for the next attacker.
- Also, replays for each attack will be summarized and can be accessed by any clan member for the next 24-hours -- can be incorporated as a separate log?
Clan members can agree between themselves who attacks first and what kind of troops each player should train, to better utilize the troops. Potential problem might be a queue of 50 clan members waiting to attack the Fort. Perhaps, it might be possible to attack bases simultaneously, say in real time?
Thank you very much for your attention. Hope it was not much to read. If you liked this idea, please leave your comment.
