Instead of complaining here is a simple solution if you don't like getting zapped....
1. Put your TH on the inside like a man
2. Go up in trophies and stop hunting low level players.
If your high in trophies and your TH is on the inside you won't get zapped as it will cost the zapper trophies. Simples :rolleyes:

So they should be forced to spend upwards of an hour between battles, and generally be attacked if not online all that time, just to stop little nubs throwing around their lightning?
i suppose you are pushing trophies hard as well?

Th9/10 people with more than 220 troop capacity; however, are different stories. Nonetheless, I take it as a complement, that my base is decent enough to force people to use that tactic.
These nubs zap me all the time lately, I'm only in crystal but it's not even worth revenging these gnats as they're all broke and have scrub bases. I just take the shield and make more in one raid than they zap from me.
I can't imagine that you can earn much with the damage inflicted by a lightning spell can you? :confused:
Btw farming isn't really any better as u are picking on the little guy like a bully and the only way they can hit u back is called cheap
The thing is anyone with lots of loot can be farmed. As a th 8, I used to farm some th 10's for a couple hundred k gold (I only got to 2 storages usually). So it's not really 'picking on the little guy'Quote:

lol at this thread! Zapping is no big deal. Half the time it is some noob dropping lvl3 light on my max de stores. He runs off with 500 de. Yawn, tons of bases with that much de sitting exposed. Are you really that weak of a raider? Even a th7 could raidmore then that with a couple of spells. Lol
My favorite is when some noob th10 or th9 drops light on my de. Zzzzzzzzz. Here's a hint, build a better army then BAM, drop 4-5 rages and you would have gotten a lot more the some de.......

There's clearly no desire for Supercell to change this.
If the amount stolen is such a big effect on you then it's just sad fact of the game.
If you have a high level DE store it helps as a series of lightnings steals DE in the proportion of damage done.
Get better drills.
Raid in a range where there is more available DE.
Lightning raids will always happen, and they do happen from Gold III to Master I that I have seen.
It just depends what you have available and who wants it most.
Swapping 30k elixir for 1k DE... I guess that's appealing to some.
Of course it is, it is the closest thing the game has to a resource converter; which ironically - is ruled out by SuperCell. :rolleyes:Quote:

But for some that is not possible - or they simply prefer the 100% success rate.
Complaining about not being able to defend against lightning is like complaining about having to actually stop at stop signs. It's not fair but they do what they are supposed to do.
Maybe they should make a big umbrella where nothing can touch your base and nothing gets raided. Kinda like those big umbrella force fields that armies have now to protect themselves from those totally unfair bombs that are deployed by airforces that have no skills. Airforces that have no "skillz" shouldn't be allowed to play. :rolleyes:

Going higher in trophies means a stronger army will come along quicker, and so will that shield, if you are low down put your TH outside and you will get your shield pretty quick as well.
when I have over 40K DE I get attacked pretty often... but you can make DE pretty quick if you are trying so I find the best solution is to quickly get to what I need and then spend it. Level 6 storage also helps.
The entire game is basically converting elixir into gold and de. That's why it is important that elixir always be plentiful.Quote:
