Do you really zap DE to train hogs?

I've never understood why people get so mad about DE zapping. I've been TH9 for just a hair over a month and I have 1,275,000 DE farmed, with a L13 BK and a L9 (upgrading to 10) AQ, minis L5, etc. I farm a lot of DE. And I get zapped a lot too. It's a farming technique.
Farmers have no problem dropping their trophies to find weaker bases to raid with low cost, easy to use troops. But they get mad when a possibly weaker player raises their cups and farms DE from a superior base. Seems like a double standard to me. It's part of the game. Get used to it and get over it.
Lol as a maxed th7 i try my best not to zap but when the time comes...
Hi Stitch :)
Yes but to hold in masters i need to use DE troops to farm DE and to earn cups. Around 2100-2300 i only use elixir troops to raid it. That way its alot faster. Besides i can find plenty of powerful th10 bases with 3k+DE (usually i lose in these battles but i still get the DE) and i can also find maxed TH9s or mid th10s with 1,5k to 2,5k DE to raid and i can win those battles so thats how i can settle my cup between 2100 to 2300.
Revenging people by zapping DE and then snipering the TH.... What a great idea!:o
Zapped it, killed their drills, finished off the storage.:)
TH10, oh so much fun to revenge.
Lol if you don't like getting zapped go up in trophies and put your TH on the inside. I doubt some noob in masters is going to zap you if he can't sniper your TH.
The demand has gone up because heroes were just buffed when they added the hero abilities.
I suspect a lot of the people zapping right now are bad players trying to get their heroes to level 5 so they can test out the new abilities. And some of the 10's doing it might be trying to save up the 100,000 DE they need for level 6 minions.
However in the end, DE zapping has always been around and will always be around. The frequency does seem a little bit increased over these last few days but i always remind myself that i never lose as much DE from zappers as i make from my drills so I don't complain about it too much.
