Just wanted to add my 2 cents and my own touch to your excellent idea:
1. Upon dropping the spell on targeted location, a ring of detection will reveal all hidden defenses (i.e. bombs, giant bombs, spring traps, air bombs, seeking air mines, hidden teslas) within it's radius.
2. Whatever hidden defenses revealed within the ring's radius will be disabled i.e. hidden teslas do not attack, traps do not activate.
3. The ring of detection will have set time duration and when the ring wears off, all hidden defenses affected within its radius previously, are then normalized i.e. they become invisible again, are able to be triggered (for traps), and attack (for hidden teslas).
4. Creation time: 2h; Cost: 20-40k gold.
I think the basic idea of detection is more likely to be considered by SC. Disabling traps, etc seems OP to me. Knowing where they are can make a big enough difference in how you attack.

I agree with you in regards to the OPness of trap disabling, which factored my consideration into having the traps disabled only while the spell was in effect. The traps return to normal as soon as the spell wears off.
I believe a balance needs to be struck in terms of the spell effectiveness in order for an attacker to actually consider using it in battle. Would just basic detection warrant a spell slot, especially in comparison to the other spells?
The effective duration of the spell could be tweaked to last shorter if indeed trap disabling turns out to be too OP.
I think that this would be good for blind spots in defenses
Not sure if i'm understanding this correctly, a spell which tells you a defenses range? You can find that out by looking at your own defenses surely...the idea of setting off traps is nice but then thats why you spray a few barbs/goblins in the path your going to take first.
The tesla detector would be good but only to reveal their strength, (in my experience a level 70-80 will have level3 so you can go from there,) you can kinda tell where people are laying their traps aswell, Normally pretty obvious.
Don't mean to be negative but there are other ways in detecting traps. I need my 4 slots for spells that make a real difference in battle.
Very good idea. But I would like to see the button to toggle this on my own base before an enemies.
Than add another slot but i don t think u need all four of your spells for one battle
at first it was a good idea ,,,by first i mean your original post. but adding on all those stuff it became to overpowered. disabling teslas and traps? thats way to strong

This spell will be definitely for TH11.
I can see how this new spell would be useful to attackers. I don't think it should be able to set off or disable traps, only detect them.
