I have seen PEKKAs being used less and less... Should they need they're top troops characteristics back or are they fine as they are? I feel they are overshadowed by the DE troops...

I agree I personally would love to see them used more often, they kind of took a back seat to the Witches in the big ground army.
They did gain a HP rise in the recent update, i'd like to know if anyone has tested them recently?

iv been attacked by peka once. this month
and that guy was good.
took out 1 building
trew 2 peka and at the same time wall breaker so instead of going into a circle they went right in the base than he trew another wb and got into the 2nd wall layer..
and hes golem was leading the charge backed up by wizz and 2 witch it was awsome 2 bad he failed LOL. and got away with 2 storage of eatch
and a sad 60% without th and i was farming :)
imo they should add like 400+ health to every PEKKA level, max teslas rip them apart and they just aren't very tanky now
I promise to use them in every battle if my PEKKAs have Hello Kitty heads & ride on unicorns.

When i get pekkas i shall use them for all of my battles
I use my L3 pekka at least 2-3 times per day. They work excellent as long as you clear a hole into base first. If not they simply follow buildings around the wall perimeter and get picked off. I normally have 2-3 healers, 12 giants and other random troops with them. I love that with a couple pekka and one rage both my opponents heroes are gone in seconds. Love pekka but due to built time they are more of a treat to use than a staple troop.

should Teslas to like x1.8 or .7 bonus to PEKKAs?
back before DE troops telas were the answer to balancing them but it has gone slightly too far and it is a bit out dated.
I think pekkas have been getting unintentionally nerfed lately (tesla tweaks, infernos, and other stuff). Lvl 7 teslas tear apart pekkas, so it would make sense that they aren't used that much. I really think SC should do something I make them more useful
I think theyre fine, I think they should take out the double damage or favorite target away from hidden teslas on pekkas. I mean there was a pekka at full health, level 3. there was a lvl 6 tesla, lvl 9 cannon and lvl 9 archer tower on it. it just took it first shot at the completely-healthy lvl 7 wall while take its first damage. by the time it destroyed the wall, it could only make 1 more hit at the next building and it died. there pretty boss at lvl 3, used 8 of them on a semi-nooby base, no spells 3-starred it with 3 of them living. people just don't know how to use 'em and teslas and single-target infernos are like OP against pekkas.
as for the 100+ HP, I don't think it'll really do much. it may be the difference between win and loss, but nothing huge. what would make them better is a DPS raise, not an HP raise. I mean the pekka damage is amazing but it per housing space is pathetic
I've never been seriously attacked by a pekka. Or maybe it was unintentionally not serious. I mean it just circled around my Base's trash buildings while defenses tore it apart.
Why use a pekka when a BK does a better job at tanking and attacking? And now it even has an ability.
I agree that the PEKKA seems to have fallen to the wayside as hogs and witches grabbed the spot light; but IMO they are still an elite attack troop if deployed properly. As a farmer by trade I don't train them for my own raid, but my clans mates are always happy to have the additional fire power of the robotic ninja shebeast (unless the requested defense troops of course.) In the rare times I trophy hunt, I typically use my clan castle to either destroy the heroes or as clean up troops behind my raid; I feel the PEKKA is great for both. Anyhow those are my thoughts. If you have a lvl 4 clan castle and want to give em a go I'll happily train a lvl 3 for you. Just message me ahead of time and I'll get it started. Hope everyone is having a great day!
I personally don't use them because they are stupid as **** & teslas always tear them apart
Pekkas are as good as they get but build time is way too long - that's the main reason I'm not using them. Make it 30 or 25 min.
They need they're AI to be improved strongly. ie: don't walk around the base
Valkyrie are basically pekka divided by 3, but have no weakness, are faster, have more health and do splash damage. Unfortunetly they cost dark elxir.
My problem with PEKKA is that they're too stupid. They attack random stuff. I suggested them being a Town Hall killer, they basically go in a straight line from spawn point to Town Hall, destorying everything on the way! They're the tip of the spear! The scalpel! To cut the heart out of the enemy!!
I never get attacked by them anymore. But I never use them to expensive and to long!
It is quite sad they used to be the face of clash!
Pekka need to be a lot of faster on like when it's go and when it attack. 20 speed and attack speed every 1 sec.
PEKKAs on SC's youtube commercial are fast. They should be that fast. I also think that AI should be improved such that it will prioritize buildings behind walls.
I love attacking with P.E.K.K.As, but my main problem with them is their huge training time. 45 minutes? I can do like 3 Barch raids in 45 minutes...
Not sure if Pekka needs a make-over or some make-up.
Originally teslas were buffed (given double damage vs pekkas) before inferno towers came along. After infernos were introduced, you had 2 towers that were a pretty solid counter to pekkas.
As the teslas get stronger, the double damage vs pekkas is spiraling out of control. This is one of the reasons i believe level 8 Tesla's have not been introduced although all other th10 defensive buildings have been introduced. SC is trying to figure out how to keep the tesla from eliminating pekkas from high level play.
I think you're right Riv, especially after level 4 PEKKAs recent HP buff, and as ab6c mentioned, they aren't used that much in high level gameplay. With both infernos and level 7 tesla, PEKKA barely stand a chance atm. I think tesla should have a nerf specifically towards their damage to PEKKA. Not too sure what else they can do, but I know players are looking forward to level 8 tesla being brought out.

Change PEKKA's AI to that of Giants and lower the training time (they could increase Elixir cost to offset) and maybe I'll consider using it.
Pekkas need an AI change. If their AI is supposed to be the same as the barb king, that is surprising. Never had my barb king go into a base and then go back out. I also think pekkas should do x2 damage to teslas,make it more of a fair fight.....
Since there armour conducts electricity should have it protect them from fire.
P.E.K.K.A reduce damage from inferno towers and make their favorite target inferno towers and would address two issues in one go. Would see 4 teslas pop up next to the inferno towers to protect them so would have little effect on maxed bases but would help with perms. Meaning people can't rely on one over powered defense and need to use defenses to complement each other.

You do realize just how OP PEKKAs would be if they targeted defenses right?
SC would be way better of if the X damage against PEKKA lowered as you upgraded your Tesla. That way Th8 players could keep there X2, perhaps a maxed Th9 would get X1.75 and a new level would get X1.5. Exact numbers could be tweaked but PEKKAs are fine in stats. They just suffer from an outdated OP fix.
