Hello everybody,
I would like to ask you a suggestion. I'm in the current situation: I have a level 7 TH, 4 builders and I've recently created the dark elixir storage. I also have a good amount of gems to buy 10'000 DE (600 gems) to get the barbarian king. I was also considering the possibility of buying 1200 more gems to get the fifth builder. Which one do you retain more valuable?

Get the 5th builder. I gemmed my barb king with the gems from te 1250 achievement and its a waste of gems. You can lightning 10,000 dark elixir quickly and also at later town halls 10,000 dark elixir is nothing but a 5th builder is a big help

If you don't have problems keeping your builders busy, buy the 5th builder. It isn't too hard getting 10k de for your barbarian king. And isn't it a much nicer achievement to farm your king?

the BK is overrated, the only thing is the novelty factor.

10K DE is not hard to get. It might seem hard at TH7, but you will not stay in your situation forever, you can move up to TH 8 rather quick, even maxing TH7 before you go. You can definatly get your BK before TH8 even, just move up to Gold 2 or 3 and there will be no problem in farming DE from those bases who keep the DE storage on the side.
Simple example:
you can farm 400 DE per raid in Gold 2 or 3, minimum.
10K/400 = 25 raids, not hard to do at all. (and 600 gems is not worth 25 raids...)
Barch will take any DE collector on a side of an easy base.

Thanks guys, I'll certainly go for the builder, especially if you say that it's not that hard to get 10k DE. I find them very helpful at each TH progress because of all the new stuff to upgrade... till the buildings start to cost several millions. At that point, having 2 or 5 makes almost no difference. That's why I was a bit uncertain. Thanks again!
