New Trap Idea: Bottomless Pit

The Bottomless Pit. If troops walk over this trap they will fall underground to their inevitable deaths. The trap is covered with leaves and branches on the battle field, but when troops step on it the leaves and branches will collapse under the troops, and they will fall. This trap is a 2x2 trap. Available at Town Hall Level 8, you can level it up so it can fit more troops (houseing space) this makes it so Pekkas and golems can't fall in the hole since it's full. This can't be OP, you only get 1, only 1 of all of the TH 8, 9, and 10s. But to make sure this is not OP, the trap will be visible to attacker, there will be a slight dis coloration to the ground locating the trap. (Easy to spot)

May as well just have a spring trap that kills pekkas and golems.

2+2+2+2+2+2 = 12, so we may as well call 12 a 2, that's the logic? A bottomless pit is the exact opposite of a spring trap & would add a completely different aspect and visual to the game play. Not saying yay or nay to the idea, I just don't get all the stretchy comparisons to something else.

Maybe offer constructive criticisms as in, maybe the pit isn't bottomless and maybe it can only hold a certain amount worth of housing space e.g., a level 1 pit holds 10 HS = 10 archers or 2 giants & can be upgraded to a level 5 pit which holds 30 HS worth of troops. Not trying to offend anyone, again, purpose of an open forum is to bring positive results to the game we all love to play & not to eagerly dismiss others ideas (which reading through the forums, happens all to often). If that were the case, why suggest anything new if we just want to see who can deduce new ideas down to that which already exists.

that prety much has the same efect as a spring trap exsept its more powerfull spring traps are powerfull enough we dont need this

Why not? Pekkas are OP we need some kind of defense against them because spring traps won't work on them

My idea is unique and creative, please don't turn it down, this is a build up to the spring trap or even a new trap that can defend pekka and golems easily.

Good idea, but this is basically the same as a spring trap. Instead of making a whole new trap, then why not just ask for more spring traps? And spring traps don't kill pekkas and golems for a reason. This would be way to op. Losing a golem to a 1x1 space trap? That would be devastating and to think that there would be lots more of those throughout the village. This is a good idea, but there is a reason why there isn't a trap that can kill pekkas and golems.
