The matchmaking should be based on the levels, not on Trophies! A high level player can drop down his trophies and start looting the lower level ones! With less defense and easy gold, I personally think that is unfair! With same level of match making people on same level fight! That is much preferable! I have been in the gold league with just lvl 40 but some guy with 90 level in the same league loots everything I have with no effort! Have a thought on it!

Yes, it is already fine how it is. If it was changes to levels instead of trophies, someone could easily be a low level but still have excellent troops and defenses.
A level is really no better indicator. Ones level can be heavily inflated if they have completed a lot of achievements and donate a lot.

Town hall 6 at lv 85. There are some strong TH9s at lv 85 out there. Why should players like this be punishing for donating a lot?
